Kindom. Following over 5 years of
studying in both Language and IT, I received BSc Hon in Information Technologies
Systems from University of Sussex in 2004, and MSc in Internet & Computing Systems
from Kings College, London in 2005.

During my last year in university, I’ve landed couple freelance jobs working as web
developer, then started my career as Engineering in an UK Leading online streaming
media company. The following year of 2006, I decided to move back to China where I
joined a software outsourcing company as Project Manager / Senior Engineer. I have
been following the princple of being multidisciplinary Engineer, and today there is well
over 4 years of professional experience behind me.

With my spare hours, I am fascinated in rapid growth in latest Web 2.0 service/apps,
Internet trends and technologies in general. At the moment, my top priority list is to
complete my personal website (http://www.jasonyliu.com) where you can find the latest
updates about me and my work, it is currently still under development, but you are
welcomed to visit and see what is up there already. Other than all the geeky stuff, I
spend at least 3 times a week in local gym, and I am also a big fan of the movies and
sports too!

Famous Norway based dating website, the team was assembled to give the site a makeover with a
completely new design, following the project turn into on-demand maintenance job. Key features included
member messaging system, member matching, member search, advertising and back-end CMS support.

Dutch hospital information management system, initial job was maintenance on their Webfocus mid-ware
based system; currently team is working on transfer the project into ASP.NET based completely.
Complicated DB Store Procedure involved.
2008 -- 2009 – Football fixture based ticketing – 11 months

Following successful launch of ticketing system for indoor ski resort, customer has sold the product to
Football clubs in Sweden and Rugby club in UK too; we were also required to upgrade the entire system
to be completely Microsoft Dynamic CRM 4.0 based, to take advantage of user friendly product and sales
management interface. Technology also involved: Windows Communication Foundation, Windows
Presentation Foundation with Silverlight for seat picker and touch screen kiosk.
