The Woods Charter School

6th Grade Course 2 Syllabus

Mrs. Kirstin Morrison
2008 - 2009

Students and Families,

Welcome to 6th Grade Course 2 at Woods! In addition to strengthening your mathematics skills, our
course will require you to apply knowledge from your past mathematics courses. Timely completion
of the daily homework assignments is crucial to your mastery of the material and success in this
course. This course will prepare you for the 6th grade EOG exam as well as mathematics applications
in your future. If you feel lost or confused in any way, do not hesitate to ask for assistance right away.
I will do everything that I can to help every student succeed in learning. I will be available for extra
help after school from 3:15PM – 4:15 PM on Wednesdays, but you may also feel free to contact me via
e-mail or phone at any time. Please see my faculty webpage on www.woodscharter.org and the course
blog at www.woods6thmath.blogspot.com for additional course information. I look forward to
working with you toward your individual success in this course and beyond!

Sincerely,
Kirstin Morrison
