SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

I, SOFRONIO HILADO RUFO, son of the late AMADO F. RUFO and INES H. RUFO, of legal age,
with residence and postal address at 372 Manga St. Cembo, Fort Bonifacio, Metro Manila do
hereby APPOINT ANGELINA BANIGOOS MALLANAO, married, likewise of legal age, with postal
address at 32 C Sct. Bayoran Diliman, Quezon City as our true and legal representative to act
for and in our name and stead and to perform the following acts:

To represent, execute, pay the fees required, sign any and all document (s) or paper(s) required
to process the transfer of Title to the owner’s name and annotation of the following properties
as well as claim/receive for and in my behalf of the said document(s) from the concerned
agencies or offices in the Philippines, thereafter to sign for us and in my name and receive the
Original Title named to the Owner and annotated to the Mortgages the properties more
particularly described as follows:

Lot No. 4111 bearing TCT No. T-5524, Lot No. 4112 bearing TCT No. 5523, Lot No. 4113
bearing TCT No. 5522 all situated in Alangalang, Leyte

HEREBY GRANTING unto our representative full power and authority to execute and perform
every act necessary to render effective the foregoing properties, as though we ourselves, have
so performed it, and HEREBY APPROVING ALL that she may do by virtue hereof with full right
of substitution of her person and revocation of this instrument.
