The seasons: Hungary has four seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Spring is quite pleasant and warm and the flowers start to bloom and the trees
bud. However, it’s often chilly, especially in the morning.
In summer, the weather is boiling/sweltering/scorching hot. Although it’s my
favourite season, I sometimes find it unbearable. By the end of spring, the
snow in the mountains melts, and this might cause massive natural disasters. In
summer the floods are very common, on the banks of rivers. There is also a
plenty of rain in this season. A very beautiful rainbow is formed after rain in
summer.
Autumn is extremely humid, chilly, slippery and rainy. There is a Indian
summer, in early autumn, when the beginning of autumn is still warm. In
autumn, the leaves of the trees change and take on beautiful new colours. They
usually turn yellow, red and orange. Unfortunately, there’s sleet,
thunderstorms and rain showers in autumn. To tell the truth, the majority of
students hate autumn because school starts.
Winter is a freezing cold season. There are ots of blizzards, a foot of snow, and
lakes and rivers usually freeze over. The weather is quite chilly, and cold. In
winter, natural disasters are very common.
Animals, and pets: The majorty of people love animals very much. The majority
of people also keep pets at home because animals are very cute and adorable.
People love to stroke/caress their pets. However, there are quite a few people
who are frightened of animals. They have animal phobias, and they don’t have
pets, in their homes. Lots of people are allergic to animal fur, but, as I see it,
pets are very good company.
Keeping pets has numerous pros. Firstly, pets can comfort people. Secondly,
they are nice company for people who live on their own. Finally, they help us
develop some social skills such as care and attention.
On the other hand, pet owners have plenty of duties/tasks. They should be
feed the animal, bath them, play around with them and take them for a walk. A
little pet is a huge responsibility, indeed.
