To answer the question above, I give you technique to answer it by using 
F & 5 'D's).

3. The specific question for this FADDDDD would be about the process & consequence of
eutrophication. Let's discuss what are the initials in the FADDDDD:

F - Fertilizers
A - Algal bloom
D - Die (submerged plants)
D - Die (aquatic life aka fishes)
D - Die (alga itself!)
D - Decomposition
D - Dead zone
4. The FADDDDD is favorable as it covers all important points needed for full marks. Below is
the example of a good answer from an A-list student:

The answer is given full marks (nearly 100%) because it contains these important points:

SPM 2014: Terangkan apakah yang
berlaku kepada sel darah merah (SDM)
pada R (5 markah)
SPM 2014: Explain what happens to the
red blood cells in R (5 marks)
2. Kita akan gunakan teknik LAOS untuk menulis jawapan.
(We shall use LAOS technique to write our answer).

L = LARUTAN - huraikan larutan samada hipotonik, hipertonik, atau isotonik.


(describe the solution either hypotonic, hypertonic, or isotonic one).

A = AIR - bahan yang meresap ialah air, bukan bahan lain!


(water as diffusing substance, nothing else!)

O = OSMOSIS - air meresap masuk/keluar secara osmosis.


(water diffuses into/out of cell via osmosis)

S = SEL (huraikan keadaan sel pada akhir proses - segah/flasid/krenasi/hemolisis)


(describe the cell condition in the end - turgid, flaccid, crenation, haemolysis)

SDM dalam air suling yg bersifat hipotonik (RBC in hypotonic distilled
water)

Air meresap masuk sel (Water diffuses into cell)


Sel mengalami hemolisis (Cell undergo haemolysis)

Special 111 Days Left - ADH &

1. Kita tahu jika lagi banyak minum air, lagi banyak kita buang air! Jom tengok bagaimana ini
berlaku.

(We know that the more we drink, the more we pee! Let's see how this occurs)

2. Air banyak dlm badan menyebabkan tekanan osmosis darah menurun. Ini dikesan
oleh hipotalamus selaku osmoreseptor. Hasilnya, kelenjar pituitari akan
merembeskan kurang hormon antidiuresis (ADH)

(Too much water will cause lower blood osmotic pressure. This is detected
by hypothalamus as the osmoreceptor. So, pituitary gland will secrete less antidiuretic
hormone (ADH))
3. Kurang ADH menyebabkan tubul ginjal kurang dirangsang utk menyerap semula air. Maka,
lebih banyak air dibuang dlm air kencing.

(Less ADH causes kidney tubules to be less stimulated in reabsorbing water. So, more water
will be expelled in the urine) 
4. Maka, dalam bas ekspres, saya sentiasa makan cips kentang supaya tekanan osmosis darah
saya tinggi --> banyak ADH dirembes --> banyak air diserap semula --> kurang rasa nak kencing
dlm bas!

(So, in express bus, I always eat potato chips so my BOP is high --> more ADH secreted -->
more water is reabsorbed --> less inclination to urine in the bus!)

COMMENT 2020: Pay attention guys - CL is popular as part of SPM questions regarding
menstrual cycle.

1. KL terhasil selepas folikel
Graaf membebaskan oosit sekunder pada hari ke-14
kitar haid. Maka, kita boleh buat kesimpulan
bahawa KL = folikel kosong.
(CL is formed after Graafian
follicle releases secondary oocyte on day-14 on
menstrual cycle. We can conclude that CL = empty
follicle)

2. Istilah 'korpus luteum' bermaksud 'badan kuning'


dlm bahasa Latin
(The term 'corpus luteum' means 'yellow body' in
Latin)

3. KL menyambung tugas folikel terdahulu dgn


merembeskan hormon progesteron. Hormon ini
sama spt estrogen dlm mengekalkan ketebalan
endometrium.
(CL continues the job of previous follicles by
secreting progesterone hormone. This hormone is
similar to oestrogen in maintaining the
endometrium thickness)
4. Jika blastosista berjaya melakukan penempelan,
KL akan terus meningkatkan aras hormon
progesteron utk menyokong perkembangan embrio.
(If blastocyst successfully conducts implantation,
CL will continue to increase the progesterone's level
in order to support the embryo development)
5. Ini berlaku utk 3 bulan pertama. Kemudian, tugas
KL diambil alih oleh plasenta
(This occurs in the first 3 months. Then, CL's role
will be taken over by placenta)

6. Selepas 3 bulan atau jika masih tiada


penempelan, KL akan menyusut. KL yg susut tanpa
penempelan menyebabkan aras hormon estrogen &
progesteron menurun & haid berlaku. Ini
membolehkan hormon perangsang folikel berfungsi
semula & kitar haid bermula semula.
(After 3 months or if there's still no implantation,
CL will degenerate. Degenerating CL without
implantation will cause oestrogen & progesterone
hormones to decrease & menses occurs. This enable
the follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) to function
again & the cycle is restarted)
