The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to
inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio,
upon their oath do find and present that Kintie Lenod Mitchell late of said County, on or about
October 11, 2020, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2903.02 of the Ohio
Revised Code, did purposely cause the death of Chase J. Meola.
SPECIFICATION ONE TO COUNT ONE - Firearm Specification - 3 year, §2941.145(A)
The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Kintie L. Mitchell had a firearm on or about his person
or under his control while committing the offense and displayed the firearm, brandished the firearm,
indicated that he possessed the firearm, or used it to facilitate the offense.
SPECIFICATION TWO TO COUNT ONE - Repeat Violent Offender Specification, "RVO" -
Multiple Convictions, §2941.149(A)
The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Kintie Lenod Mitchell is a repeat violent offender as
defined in section 2929.01 of the Ohio Revised Code in that the instant offense involved committing,
complicity in committing, or an attempt to commit an offense under an existing or former law of this
state, another state, or the United States that is or was substantially equivalent to aggravated murder,
murder, a felony of the first or second degree that is an offense of violence, and the said Kintie Lenod
Mitchell previously was convicted of or pleaded guilty to an offense that involved committing,
complicity in committing, or an attempt to commit an offense under an existing or former law of this
state, another state, or the United States that is or was substantially equivalent to aggravated murder,
murder, a felony of the first or second degree that is an offense of violence, to wit: on or about July 1,
2020, in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division, Franklin County, Ohio,
Kintie Lenod Mitchell was convicted of or pleaded guilty to Burglary in violation of R.C. 2911.12
and/or on or about July 1, 2020, in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division,
Franklin County, Ohio, Kintie Lenod Mitchell was convicted of or pleaded guilty to Burglary in
violation of 2911.12.
Count Two Murder, §2903.02, UF

Date of Offense On or about October 11, 2020
The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to
inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio,
upon their oath do find and present that Kintie Lenod Mitchell late of said County, on or about
October 11, 2020, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2903.02 of the Ohio
Revised Code, did cause the death of Chase J. Meola, as a proximate result of the offender
committing or attempting to commit an offense of violence that is a felony of the first or second
degree, to wit: Felonious Assault, in violation of Section 2903.11 of the Ohio Revised Code.
SPECIFICATION ONE TO COUNT TWO - Firearm Specification - 3 year, §2941.145(A)
The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Kintie L. Mitchell had a firearm on or about his person
or under his control while committing the offense and displayed the firearm, brandished the firearm,
indicated that he possessed the firearm, or used it to facilitate the offense.

Franklin County, Ohio, Kintie Lenod Mitchell was convicted of or pleaded guilty to Burglary in
violation of R.C. 2911.12.
Count Three Having Weapons While Under Disability, §2923.13, F3

Date of Offense On or about October 11, 2020
The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to
inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio,
upon their oath do find and present that Kintie Lenod Mitchell late of said County, on or about
October 11, 2020, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2923.13 of the Ohio
Revised Code, did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a firearm or dangerous ordnance and Kintie
Lenod Mitchell was under indictment for or had been convicted of a felony offense of violence, to
wit: on or about July 27, 2020, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division,
Franklin County, Ohio, Kintie Lenod Mitchell was under indictment for or had been convicted of the
crime of Burglary, in violation of R.C. 2911.12 and/or on or about February 28, 2020, in Franklin
County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division, Franklin County, Ohio, Kintie Lenod Mitchell
was under indictment for or had been convicted of the crime of Burglary, in violation of R.C.
2911.12 and/or did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a firearm or dangerous ordnance and Kintie
Lenod Mitchell was under indictment for or had been convicted of a felony offense of violence, to
wit: on or about February 20, 2020, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Criminal Division,
Franklin County, Ohio, Kintie Lenod Mitchell was under indictment for or had been convicted of the
crime of Burglary, in violation of R.C. 2911.12 and/or did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a
firearm or dangerous ordnance and Kintie Lenod Mitchell had been adjudicated a delinquent child for
the commission of an offense that, if committed by an adult, would have been a felony offense of
violence, to wit: on or about December 10, 2019, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas
Juvenile/Domestic Division, Franklin County, Ohio, having been adjudicated a delinquent child of
Burglary, in violation of R.C. 2911.12 .

All of the above conduct being contrary to the form of the statute in such cases made and provided,
and against the peace and dignity of the State of Ohio.
