Mix recommended proportion of Component A and Component B. Stir the mixture 2) 3) 4) 5) thoroughly enough to completely blend the two components. Allow the mixture to stand. for at least 10 mins. so that the entrapped air bubbles can escape. By means of paint brush or mohair covered rollers, a first layer of mixture is applied. Allow the applied film to become tacky, which would take around 30-45 minutes before laying the reinforcing fiberglass. (Never lay the fiberglass on dried epoxy film). ‘The first step of impregnation can be done by means of brush or roller which aids the mixture for complete wetting out of the fibers. Avoid applying to much of the mixture as, this will cause dripping. Wet the reinforcing fiberglass until the surface is smooth and. even. Repeat procedures 2 & 3 if several layers of the laminate are desired. The laminate is then allowed to cure. Tools are cleaned with epoxy thinner, Xylol or lacquer thinner.
