Chapter 4

it is very important that the teaching profession has also its legal basis. Before, first
teachers have only the principle of basis and end goal as only to educate only the young minds of
the youth. Likewise, in this 21st century of teaching, teachers are more aware and actively
involve in empowering and to build a continuous growth in teaching and learning as well. Laws
may help us in able to sustain our gaps and unknown concepts about the field we accepted. Laws
are developed primarily to produce a systematic, organized, and a well-ordered manner of Act
of teachers in which it embodies the rights, the procedures, the concepts, the limitations, and
even its benefits to us teachers. It also becomes the guide or a self-reflection of a teacher in terms
of his/her teaching performance as an accredited professional teacher. Through the help of
building a strong foundation of laws with regards specifically in developing the
professionalization of teaching, teachers are more powered to face all the possibilities on how to
improve and strengthen the capacity to become a professional teacher.

That’s only I’ve want to say in this chapter, and I’m very willing to accept all the possibilities with
regards for the growth and improvement of my totality. The more important is to realized and know the
path of your objectives in benefit specifically to your future learners. I believed that if we developed our
learners progressively, then parallel to that, we develop ourselves progressively, too.

Chapter 5

There are fundamental requirements to meet o become a professional teacher. One has to
graduate a teacher education degree, pass the professional board examination for teachers,
officially called the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), join professional organizations
and abide by the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers. In addition, teachers must
continuously grow in the profession by undertaking continuing professional development
activities.

So the most embodied topic being discussed in this chapter is the Code Ethics for Professional
Teachers. It is very important that teachers emulate the desired high moral values and characters
as well as the possession of what is right and wrong. It is pointed out that teachers must set an
objective inside the class as called as the “affective domain”. The values, behaviors, attitudes,
and as well as the good conduct of moral character. In the teaching profession it is very
important that teachers are the good influential model inside the classroom. They must portray
pleasant and acceptable values and ethics as learners perceived it. I’m not saying that we must
greatly focused to the affective domain but rather to consider this as an important ingredient for
holistic development. In this modern times, it is not so important that you are an  intelligent
teacher but rather a skillful and who employs a high degree of morality in teaching and even
outside the profession. The one who becomes the “set” inspiration of each learners and even in
the community that will result to pursue a better change for the continuous improvement of the
society.

The Code of Ethics for Teachers become the basis of all teachers in terms of their desired
teaching performance as well as pertaining to their holistic development.  This will really help
me to become a professional teacher. I will be more informed about the right actions of a teacher
in different aspects like in the community, as a person, as a professional teacher, towards learners
and parents, and as well as to the state.

So my comment is that, the development of the Code of Ethics for Teachers is a very good
development in the teaching profession because it helps teachers more harmonized and effective
when it comes to obliged all the the duties and responsibilities as a teacher. This becomes a
uniform basis of all teachers of what must to do in the teaching profession. So when we say
“Code of Ethics for Teachers”, it mainly focused on how to demonstrate extrinsically the high
standards of moral values and behaviors in teaching. Furthermore, it will help learners to reflect
and imitate the reflected moral values of a teacher.

Chapter 6

These are some goals of the education and other teacher-related laws which I’ve thought
and concluded which has its greatest relevance intended for the purpose of gaining knowledge
about the concept of laws in relation to education. So, a saying goes around, “Ignorance of the
law excuses no one.” As a future teacher, I must be updated and well-informed about the recent
and other important education and other teacher-related laws which can be used as basis of a
teacher as he/she continually grows in the teaching. In my own perspective, in able to enjoy
those laws we must sacrifice first our rights. Even this passage is very ironic, I believe with this
because if we have something beneficially in terms to gives off, then it will also constitutes or
parallel to the equivalent satisfaction to the laws being experienced.

My reflection in this chapter it is the important concepts and ideas are highlighted and
more emphasized. These include the clarity of the passage, effective questioning activity that
generates the minds and skills of future teachers after my thorough analysis of the content of this
chapter, I realized that in able to become an effective teacher someday, I must be first equipped
and developed holistically in terms of all aspects in education. A well-rounded teacher is my
ideal teacher that I admired most.
