1 Introduction

This document contains full overview of test and software calibration procedures for
GeniuMT/JokerMT devices.
1.1 Entering test menu

Enter service area using service password. Test Menu is located in Service / Check 1. Gas test
menu is available only on gas devices. You can use gas or service password to access it in
Service / Check2.

1.2 Selecting test

To select test enter test number using arrows. It can be done only when any of the test is not
running.

1.3 Activating test

To activate test press button START. To Stop test you can press button STOP. Buttons are
located at bottom of the page.

2 Check1

2.1 Fan test

Be careful. Tests can be triggered with open door!

Test 105 is used to cool down the device after heating tests: 200 - 211, 520, 521 and 900 – 903.
2.2 Electric heating test

Test can be executed for maximum 20. To protect heating element you should start test 115
which will cool down heating element before next heating tests.

2.3.1 Water flow calibration: 300, 310 and 320

Calibration procedure:

 During calibration of steam valves (300 and 310), the flow meters must be
disabled. You can enable them after calibration. Parameter for flowmeter is
here in Optrions 222 FirstFlowMeter and 223 SecondFlowMeter.
 Prepare container for water volume measurement. You should collect the
water which is going through the tested valve.
 Start proper test and wait until it ends.
 Measure volume of water in container.
 Enter measured volume in message box.
 Press button to confirm new value.
 Repeat procedure one more time to verify calibration achieve better
accuracy.
2.3.2 Flowmeter test 330, 340
This test open valve and show if flowmeter is counting. It can be run only if
flowmeter is enabled. Using this test you can check if flowmeter is properly
connected and not blocked.
2.3.3 Valve test 350, 360, 370
This test open valve for one minute and display calculated (or measured) water
volume.
2.4 Various actuator test

2.5 Gas test

2.5.1 Gas fan test without opening gas valve

This test allows you to check only PWM and gas fan power supply output on gas
board. Gas valve is not opened during this test.

2.5.2 Gas ignition test

It starts full ignition procedure. Gas valve will be also opened.

Test can be executed for maximum 10 minutes.
Warning: In SW 3.08 and lower, the test 521 doesn’t run chamber fun. Due this issue
please use the test only for short time and take care to not overheat heat exchanger.

2.6 Autoclean

Warning! After pump activation, the decontamination step is required before cooking!
Decontamination step can’t be skipped.

Note that test 640 is available only if device has water group with ACL system connected to
hard and soft water. In this case 640 activate soft water valve and 630 activate hard water
valve.
2.7 Temperature test

Temperature test is available under id 700.

2.8 Digital input test

During this test the Input state is displayed as “0” or “1”. See interpretation in table above.

Each test will ignite the burner. Ignition step takes 30s, then it will go to operation mode. Gas
fan speed is determined by maximum or minimum PWM value from gas configuration
(parameters Gas / 613, 614, 616 617)
You can also adjust fan speed manually using slider.

Test can be executed for maximum 10 minutes.

Warning: In SW 3.08 and lower, the test 902 and 903 don’t run chamber fun. Due this issue
please use the test only for short time and take care to not overheat heat exchanger.
