PSA RSSO II RESUMES FRONTLINE SERVICES AFTER ECQ

After 48 days of Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), the Philippine Statistics

Authority Regional Statistical Service Office II (PSA RSSO II) on Monday, May 4,
2020, reopens its frontline services for the processing of PSA-Civil Registrar
documents in Region 02.
In compliance to the advisory signed by National
Statistician Claire Dennis S. Mapa and subject to
the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging
Infectious Diseases (IATF) rules, the office
adopts the “new normal” measures of delivering
services to clients to ensure public safety.
Corollary, and to adhere in physical distancing
measure, PSA RSSO II limits the number of
customers who
can be inside the
office at once to only ten clients. A makeshift plastic
barrier was also installed to minimize potential health
hazards for applicants as well as the office
personnel. The agency also employed “no mask, no
entry policy” and “check temperature” before
entering the receiving area of the office.

PSA RSSO II Regional Director Marilyn T. Estrada strictly advises her staff and the
clients to take extra precautionary measures by religiously wearing safety gears such
as face mask or face shields, sanitize and abide by the “new normal” rules of the
government.

For day one, about 81 clients were served with a total volume of 243 documents.
