DESCRIPTION
Two components aliphatic polyurethane coating with excellent gloss and colour
retention.
PRINCIPAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Excellent resistance to atmospheric exposure
- Non chalking and non yellowing
- Resistant to splash of mild chemicals
- Good resistant to water and solvent
- Easily over coated over extended periods
- Resistant to impact, abrasion in marine and industrial corrosive atmosphere
RECOMMENDED USE
As a deluxe finishing coat on a wide variety of any substrate especially in marine
and industrial atmosphere

SURFACE PREPARATION
The surface to be over coated should be clean dry and free from grease and oil.
Roughening of the surface to be coated is necessary to ensure interring coat
adhesion.

To ensure good adhesion with aged all previous paint : sweep blast cleaned to find
sufficiently roughened.
CONDITION OF APPLICATION

Temperature: minimum 5 C Maximum 50 C
Relative humidity: maximum 85%

Substrate temperature should be at least 3 C above dew point.

Preceding coat : SIMACOVER EP PRIMER or SIMACOVER EP COATING
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Mixing ratio by volume; Base: Hardener = 7 : 1
The temperature of the mixture of base and hardener should be above 15°C;
otherwise extra solvent may be required to obtain application viscosity.
Thinner could be added after mixing the components
Too much solvent result in lower sag resistance and slower cure
Very good mechanical mixing of base and hardener is essential.
