2. An idealized wing box section shown in figure below is subjected to a torque T. The cell
areas are A1 = 258 000 mm2 and A2 = 383 200 mm2. The shear modulus of the materials
is G = 26 GPa and is constant throughout. All dimensions in figure below are in
millimeter. Determine: (a) The maximum torque that can be applied, if the maximum
allowable rate of twist for the cross-section is 0.30/m.
