ACTIVITY:

LIST OF IDEAS THAT WOULD IMPROVE VOTER PARTICIPATION IN THE

UPCOMING ELECTION.

1. Charles Daryll G. Contridas

 Help voters make a plan. people are more likely to complete a task if you can get

them to mentally visualize the process.

 Repeated personal contact. Door-to-door canvassing and phone banking are

particularly effective at turning out voters, including those who haven’t voted much

in the past.
 Social pressure. Get out the vote messages that use social pressure to motivate

people to vote are effective at increasing turnout.

 Creating well-informed voters. Providing information around voting including

voter guides, ballot measure informational sheets, etc. were more effective at getting

people out to vote.

 Streamline voter registration with automatic voter registration, same-day voter

registration (SDR), preregistration of 16- and 17-year-olds, and online voter

registration.

 Make voting more convenient with in-person early voting, no-excuse absentee

voting, and vote-at-home with vote centers.

 Provide sufficient resources in elections and ensure voting is accessible.

 Restore rights for formerly incarcerated people

 Strengthen civics education in schools

 Invest in integrated voter engagement (IVE) and outreach.

 Automatic voter registration

 Same-day voter registration

 Preregistration

 Online registration

 Early voting

 Assuring that there are no vote buying that are happening between the voters and

the candidates.

 The Government must assure that all the voting machines are properly working to

avoid vote loss or vote being uncounted.

 The Government must secure the voting process for no fraud/cheating to occur.

 The community should not be biased and tolerate political dynasty.

 People must vote based on the good did, plans and platforms of a candidate and

not just because they are influenced by other’s sayings or opinions.

3. John Claridhenz R. Franco

If the youths will join the voting next election it means more voter's to come to the

voting area.

 First need more time to conduct the election.

 Second need more facility, equipment and worker's or comelec worker's for the

next election.

 Last they can separate the voting area for under age voter's (youth), legal age

voter's and senior citizens, or they can separate them by different time for them to

vote.
