Episode title: Baiting the Trap

In the giant circus tent sitting in plain sight in the middle of Tokyo, odd creatures laughed and
played. Zirconia silenced them, and called forth the Amazon Trio. The three appeared.

"Now, you've encountered Pegasus three times, and he's eluded your capture each time." Zirconia
rasped. "This is completely unacceptable to me, you understand?"

The Amazon Trio was kind of speechless. Hawk's Eye asked to speak. He said that in only three
tries, it wasn't an accurate reflection on their abilities. He was sure that once they were more into
things, they would capture Pegasus.

"Have you identified the next victim yet, Tiger's Eye?" Hawk's Eye asked. The Trio had retired to
their bar after talking to Zirconia. Tiger's Eye had chosen a picture. Hawk's Eye asked him why
Pegasus would live in the dreams of such a boring-looking girl.

"We wouldn't really have a problem if we knew that, would we." Tiger's Eye replied. Hawk's Eye
told Tiger's Eye not to be so moody. Tiger's Eye retorted, telling Hawk's Eye that he shouldn't have
made the promise he made to Zirconia. Fish Eye broke up the fight, reminding them that they had to
come up with a plan so they could do better on their next outing. Hawk's Eye said he had a trump
card up his sleeve. Fish Eye and Tiger's Eye wondered what it was. Tiger's Eye, tired of Hawk's Eye's
overconfidence, left to go on his mission.

Molly arrived to the meeting place she and Melvin promised to meet. Meanwhile, Tiger's Eye was
tracking her, and saw himself in a window. After going on and on about himself and how perfect he
thought he was, he went towards Molly.

"Hey, you're late!" Molly said angrily. She looked up at the disguised Tiger's Eye, whom she thought
was Melvin. She apologized.

"On the contrary, my dear." Tiger's Eye said. "It's a complete honor for me to be addressed by such a
lovely and pretty lady like you." Molly blushed and smiled at Tiger's Eye. Tiger's Eye thought, I'm
good! Already, she's charmed by my exceptional good looks. Who wouldn't be? I'm irresistable!

"I'd be delighted if you'd accompany me for a cup of cocoa." Tiger's Eye said to Molly. Molly looked
at the hand on her shoulder. As she did, Melvin caught the corner of her eye, and stood up to greet
him. Tiger's Eye thought him obnoxious, and wondered who he was. Molly ran to Melvin and the
two went off to eat ice cream. Tiger's Eye was more than furious that Molly had chosen Melvin over
him.

Fish Eye and Hawk's Eye both spat out their drinks, laughing at Tiger's Eye's rejection.

"If she chose him, what must she think of you?" Hawk's Eye teased. Tiger's Eye cracked his whip in
anger. Fish Eye, who wasn't scared of Tiger's Eye's little fit, said,

"I know things are bad, but maybe you're just in a slump."

"A slump?" Tiger's Eye said in disgust. "That's not possible for me! Ignorance made her incapable of
seeing my true beauty! There's no way Pegasus lives in her dreams!"

"You can't say that for certain, Tiger's Eye." Fish Eye replied. "I just think your ego's been bruised.

"Even if she is the wrong one, she can be very useful to us." Hawk's Eye said. Fish Eye caught that
Hawk's Eye was referring to his "trump card". Fish Eye was uninterested in seeing it, so Hawk's Eye
showed Tiger's Eye.

Hawk's Eye unveiled a huge cage.

"Now, it's not just a cage." Hawk's Eye explained.

"How so?" Tiger's Eye asked.

"Well, let me explain." Hawk's Eye said. "As you have witnessed a few times now, Pegasus isn't
actually a substance in a positive dimension. Then, it came to me. If you create a negative charge of
energy to flow into the cage, it will become another dimension, and you'll be able to confine Pegasus
to the cage."

Tiger's Eye and Fish Eye didn't think it could be so easy. Hawk's Eye knew that Pegasus would
appear when someone with a beautiful dream was in trouble. In effect, all they had to do was capture
someone with a beautiful dream, capture them, and await Pegasus. Tiger's Eye looked at the picture
of Molly, and smiled with glee.

Meanwhile, Molly was looking through a library, and came across a book she'd been looking for for
quite a long time. She flipped through the pages.

"Oh, a girl who wants to become a nurse." Tiger's Eye said to himself as he watched Molly. He
smiled at his fortune. He had a plan. Act sick, to get a girl who wanted to help the ill.

As Molly walked home, Tiger's Eye sat on a bus stop bench. Tiger's Eye stood in Molly's path. He
smiled at her.

"It's a pleasure to bump into you again, Miss." He said. Molly stared at him blankly.

"Again?" Molly said finally. "I'm sorry, but have we met before?"

Tiger's Eye was furious, but he tried to hide it from Molly.

"Well, maybe you don't remember me, but I've been longing to see you ever since I met you on the
street!" Tiger's Eye said dramatically. "Along with everything else, my heart's been aching to be near
you! Now, you're actually here with me!" He let some tears fall during his insincere dramatics. Molly
couldn't help smiling, thinking Tiger's Eye was cute. Suddenly, Tiger's Eye grabbed his throat and
stumbled back. Molly gasped.

"I'm sorry to startle you." He said quietly. "I'm just very sick. I only have three months to live."

"What?!" Molly gasped. She gripped her book tightly. "How terrible! I'm so sorry!" She said.

Tiger's Eye told Molly not to apologize. He apologized for burdening Molly with his problems. He
coughed, and fell to his knees. Molly went to help him. Tiger's Eye smiled evilly.

"I have such little time left." Tiger's Eye lied as Molly helped him up. "It's hard not to feel sorry for
myself, but I think it's sad for a young life to end without knowing love. Don't you?"

Molly agreed with Tiger's Eye. Tiger's Eye asked Molly to help him. He asked her to be his
girlfriend. Molly was shocked beyond anything she'd ever known. Tiger's Eye furthered his words by
saying that the last of his life would be empty without her.

After her encounter with Tiger's Eye, Molly went to Raye's temple where she was talking with the
girls. She told them what had happened.

"Sounds just like a soap opera." Mina remarked.

"So, what else do you know about him?" Asked Amy.

"I'm not really sure what I know." Molly replied. Lita looked concerned.

"When he asked you to become his girlfriend, you didn't agree to that, did you?" She asked.

"Um... well... actually..." Molly started. She had agreed.

"What?" Mina said. "Well, what are you going to do about Melvin now?"

"I told him I had a boyfriend already, but he convinced me it would only be for three months." Was
Molly's reply. Rini said she couldn't wait for romance. Serena told Rini she didn't know what she was
saying.

Raye said, "But Molly, you shouldn't confuse sympathy with love."

"You're right." Molly replied. "And, I know that, but I couldn't help feeling pity, so I just agreed to
help him."

"You're so sweet, Molly, that's nice!" Rini said. "So different from Serena."

"I'm loaded with sweetness!" Serena shouted. The cats sighed as Serena and Rini argued again.
Molly got up and said goodbye. She ran off. Mina thought they should run after her, and the girls
were worried about this "guy" anyway. Serena ran after Molly, and the girls ran after Serena. Artemis
asked Luna if she had any bad feelings on the situation, and naturally, she did.

Molly was waiting on an overpass for Melvin. She stared at the cars below pensively. "Three
months." She said to herself. "If I was in his shoes, I'd be so sad, I wouldn't be able to stand it." She
resolved to help the man, but didn't know what she was going to do about Melvin. Just then, Melvin
came up to her, and asked her if anything was wrong. She said she had something important to talk
about. She told him all about Tiger's Eye, and her agreement. Melvin cried, telling Molly that her
kindness is what he loved most about her. Then he ran off, telling Molly to go with him. Just then,
Serena and the girls came up behind Molly, and told her Melvin would be fine. The girls wondered
about Molly, but Mina thought they should check up on Melvin.

That night, Rini was walking through the streets. Alone. In a big city. Without escorts. In the dark,
scary streets. Dark scary streets where big thugs come along and kill you... or in Rini's case, nerds
named Melvin sipping on giant mounds of milkshakes in cafes. She looked at all the empty cups, and
tried to count them. When she reached fifteen, she felt like she was going to wretch. Melvin, lost in
sorrow, was likely about to order another milkshake.

Meanwhile, Tiger's Eye was meeting with Molly. He walked over to her, and sat down.

"I'm so happy." He said. "I never thought you'd agree to this."

"Actually, I have something I want to talk to you about." Molly said.

"What's wrong? You can tell me. You don't look like the happy girl I met." He tried to touch Molly's
cheek, but Molly drew away.

"I mentioned it before, and I want to again." Molly said. "I have a boyfriend."

"And the problem is?"

"He's a great guy, and I care about him a lot."

Just then, Tiger's Eye put his hand on Molly's shoulder. Molly's thoughts couldn't drift from Melvin,
though. She thought of him so sad and lonely without her.

"Don't worry." Tiger's Eye said. "I just want us to spend a little time together. It won't be for long,
and then you'll be able to go back to him when I'm gone." He held Molly closer to him. "Right now,
why don't we think of something a little more pleasant?" He asked.

"No!!!" Molly shouted. She pushed Tiger's Eye onto the ground hard. She apologized for what she
did, but it was understandable to her, because she loved Melvin. Tiger's Eye was furious, and cracked
his whip. After denouncing his feelings for her, Tiger's Eye revealed his true form. Luna saw what
had transpired, and went to alert the others.

"One! Two! Three!"

Just like before, the count to three trapped Molly on the odd upright table, and her Dream Mirror
appeared. "Now I'll take a look into your dream!" He said.

Meanwhile, Rini had found Serena and told her about Melvin. She was amazed at how many
milkshakes he had gulped down.

"Hey, is it over between Molly and Melvin, or what?" Rini asked.

"Why, oh why do you need to know such things, Rini?" Serena scolded. Luna had just then found
them, and told them about Molly.

"MOON COSMIC DREAM ACTION!"

Tiger's Eye looked through Molly's dreams, but didn't find Pegasus. He still thought her dream was
very beautiful.

"Why can't I....?!"

"Because you're evil!" A voice shouted. Tiger's Eye wheeled around and beheld Sailor Moon and
Sailor Mini Moon. "How dare you trick my friend!" Sailor Moon shouted. "Only someone truly
rotten would toy with Molly's innocent mind and loving heart!"

"And only to have her kindness returned with evil!" Mini Moon added.

"We're Sailor Scouts!"

"And we stand for Love and Justice!"

"I'm Sailor Moon!"

"And I'm Sailor Mini Moon!"

"And in the name of the Moon, we shall punish you!"

Tiger's Eye grinned. All was going as planned. He called forth his monster. It was a juggling monster
dressed in a skimpy outfit. It was juggling small orange balls. It started throwing them at the two
Sailor Scouts, who proceeded to juggle the balls themselves. The balls dropped, and they exploded
when they hit the ground. Then, the monster started to throw flaming bowling pins at the two Sailors.
Sailor Moon was barely able to dodge each attack. Mini Moon, who had taken refuge behind a tree,
came up with an idea.

"Please, Pegasus! Someone's dream is in danger!"

"CRYSTAL TWINKLE BELL!"

With that, Pegasus' power was evoked. Tiger's Eye was even more pleased. While Tiger's Eye and
the monster were looking at the golden light, Sailor Moon and Sailor Mini Moon crept behind the...
thing that held Molly in place. The two tried to free Molly.

"Things are working out just as I had planned." Tiger's Eye said. He snapped his fingers, and the
cage made by Hawk's Eye sprouted out of the ground, leaving one side open. Mini Moon realized
that it was a trap for Pegasus. Pegasus flew into the cage, and Tiger's Eye closed it. He flipped a
switch that started to a mechanism in the cage. The mechanism focused an intense amount of
negative energy, so much that it created an alternate dimension within the cage. Pegasus drew closer
and closer to it, despite the objections of the Sailor Scouts.

Pegasus passed right through the portal.

Pegasus calmly flew to the Sailor Scouts, then flew upwards and out of the cage, and into the sky.

"I should've never relied on Hawk's Eye's stupid idea!" Tiger's Eye said angrily. "I knew it would be
impossible to capture Pegasus by his dumb trap! Why did I go along with Hawk's Eye!?!?"

In anger, Tiger's Eye cracked his whip repeatedly, shattering the cage. He ordered his monster to
attack. The monster complied, juggling a bunch of sharp knives. Before it could attack, three roses
shot into its hair, nestled perfectly to go with its hairstyle. The monster smiled and blushed. The
Sailor Scouts looked up and saw Tuxedo Mask.

"As Tuxedo Mask, I won't just stand by while the likes of you takes advantage of a young girl's
kindness!" Tuxedo Mask said from atop a street lamp.

"Why should I care what you think, Mr. Bad Fashion?" Tiger's Eye said, getting more and more
furious by the second. "Just mind your own business!" Tiger's Eye snapped his whip handle in two.

"I don't have time to listen to this loser's rants." Tuxedo Mask said. "Let's go, Sailor Moon!"

Sailor Moon stepped up.

"MOON GORGEOUS MEDITATION!"

The monster was defeated, and Tiger's Eye retreated through his portal. Molly was freed. Sailor
Moon and Sailor Mini Moon held Molly up in their arms. Molly opened her eyes and looked at the
sky.

"Look, it's Pegasus!" Molly said. The Sailor Scouts watched the sky as Pegasus flew higher until he
disappeared.

"Disappeared." Tuxedo Mask said. "I wonder where he comes from." The other two Sailors and
Molly looked up at the sky in amazement.

That night, at Melvin's, Molly was visiting the sick boy. He had drank too many milkshakes, and was
feeling sick.

"You know Melvin, anyone would have had a bad stomach ache if they drank fifteen large
milkshakes at once." Molly said. Melvin groaned in pain. "I know you did it 'cause of me." Molly
said. "You're so sweet, Melvin. Here, I brought you something."

"Noooooooo!" Screamed Melvin. Molly's gift to him, was a large milkshake.
