encounter the word Philosophy?”

Okay, Philosophy is simple searching for the meaning of life or the search
for answers to life’s questions

According to Aristotle, an Ancient Greek Philosopher, “By nature, human


beings are inquisitive.” An inquisitive person likes finding out about things,
seeks answer to the questions and eager for knowledge.

How does holistic thinking differ from partial thinking? Using a Venn
Diagram, show the difference between holistic point view from partial point
of view. I will give you 5 minutes for this activity. Write it in your notebook.

Which is more desirable in doing philosophy and why? Can I hear from all

Holistic point of view is more desirable than partial point of view because it
gives a general overview of the problem or situation. Before making
conclusions or decisions, you have to weigh first the problem or situation
and look at the “big picture”.

Why do we need to philosophize? Philosophers have often wondered and


argued about the role of philosophy in man’s life. One view is that each one
of us is a philosopher, whether or not we have studied philosophy.
Give me the four reasons why do we need to philosophize. These was
according to the great philosophers. I discussed it also yesterday in the live

Man needs to philosophize to his sense of wonder and doubt, his or her
experiences, and the love for wisdom.

Philosophical Reflection is a step-by-step process in which you are trying to reflect
or evaluate your own experiences first before making any action to it. It is
important because it enables us to look deeper into our experiences and see the
bigger picture of reality.
