Past Perfect Tense
• Positive: S + had + V3 /past participle

Past Perfect Continuous Tense
The formula of Past Perfect Continuous Tense:
Positive:
S + had + been + present participle (verb-ing)
Negative:
S + had + not + been + present participle (verb-ing)
Interrogative:
Had + S + been + present participle (verb-ing)

Simple Future Tense

Future Continuous Tense

Example:

S + will + not + be + main verb (present participle + ing)

Example:
He will not be studying at the library tonight, so he
can see Mary when she arrives.
(Dia tidak akan sedang belajar di perpustakaan
malam ini, jadi dia bisa melihat Mary ketika Mary
datang).

Example:

Future Perfect Continuous
• Subject + will + have + been + (present

• Example:
– I will have been working at this company for five
years in December.

Either
• Either + singular noun, to mean that this one
or that one.
– Example: We could go to either mall.
• Either + plural noun before a pronoun, or
word such as this, the or my.
– Example: Either of my clothes is good
• Either is used in negative construction.
– Example: I do not have money either. (I do not
have any money)
Neither
• Neither is used in affirmative construction and
negative ideas
– Example:
• James is not playing tennis and neither am I.
• I cannot drive a truck and neither can he.
• I am not at home. Neither is Mary.
