How to Obtain

Characters can primarily be obtained by using Primogems to purchase Intertwined Fates or

Acquaint Fates to perform Wishes (gacha pulls). The starter characters: Amber, Kaeya, and
Lisa, can be obtained early on in the main storyline (Archon Quests). Some characters may
also be purchased from the monthly Paimon's Bargains shop in exchange for Masterless
Starglitter.

Progression
Leveling

Characters can gain experience primarily by completing quests and using Character EXP
Materials. Characters will also get a very small amount of experience for defeating
monsters. See Character Experience for the EXP table.

Ascensions

Characters can be ascended to their next "Phase" once they reach their current max level up
to 6 times (Lv.90).

To ascend a character, go to the character screen and click on the Ascend button at the
bottom-right of your screen. A box will appear showing which Character Ascension
Materials, Local Specialties, and Common Ascension Material materials are needed and the
Mora cost required to ascend the character. If there is an item you do not have, click on that
material item to see various ways of how to obtain it. See each character's page to know the
materials needed for each ascension.

Upon reaching the 1st and 3rd Phase/ascension, the character unlocks a new passive talent.
The 3rd passive talent, if the character has one, is already unlocked at Phase 0.

Constellations
Each character has 6 constellations, which are similar to their passives and increase the
effectiveness or capabilities of the character. In order to unlock each constellation of a
character (aside from the Traveler), a player must use a Stella Fortuna for that specific
character. Players can obtain a character's Stella Fortuna by pulling a duplicate of the
character in Wishes (Gacha) or buying the character from Paimon's Bargains.
