INTRODUCTION

Nowardays , Germany is the main economic power in Europe, thanks to its scientific and
industrial development, and health and education could not be left behind, because in this
country the benefits for the people who live there are countless; unlike Colombia, which does not
have an optimal health service and whose resources are precarious, as well as education.

Germany has a very good international reputation, thanks to its extensive network of

doctors and hospitals, it has one of the most expensive systems, but faced with this, it offers

advantages such as quick attention for treatments or operations; it has the latest technology

and offers medical care at home at no extra cost, in the case of pregnant women who need

accompaniment, the service is provided, in the same way in the event of an accident.

Germany has a slightly different system from other countries, where at the age of 3 children

start kindergarten and at the age of 6 it is compulsory to start school; public school is free, when

children enter, they undergo a medical test to detect any psychological, motor or language

problems in order to provide assistance and correct these defects.

After completing elementary school, teachers suggest to parents the most appropriate type of

secondary school for their child based on his/her academic results, as there are different schools

such as: elementary school, vocational school and high school, where each one of them fulfills a

specific function. In recent years, it is very common to find mixed schools that meet the three

types of schools mentioned above.

Unlike Germany, Colombia is a country where health care is divided into two schemes:

subsidized and contributory; the subsidized scheme refers to the aid given by the government

to the poorest population in the country and the contributory scheme is the one that can be

paid by people who find a job that pays a minimum wage or more and on which the quality of

the health service depends. [ CITATION car \l 2058 ]

With respect to education, Colombia has a system that includes early childhood education,

preschool, college and higher education, to which all Colombians normally have access. There

are exceptions, however, such as distance or virtual education, which in recent years has become

an option for those engaged in activities other than studies.

In Colombia the educational problem must continue to be addressed from all the dimensions

implicit in the same problem and operate in multiple fields; for example, in the curriculum, in

didactics, in comprehensive and axiological training, in evaluation, in educational legislation, in

educational or institutional administration, in the search for educational projects and pedagogical

innovations that bring us closer to the solution of the crisis, in the construction of new coherent

and pertinent pedagogical models, etc; However, to improve educational quality in Colombia,

from the education systems themselves, from the Ministry of National Education, from the

thinkers and operators of the curriculum, from the directors of educational institutions and

teachers, from all levels of the educational community that it influences the educational

dynamics, from all sectors.
