GENERALITÀ
Il Fiomec Computer è un sistema di misura multipro-
cessore, particolarmente indicato per la misura dei
volumi di gas erogati, in grado di convertire i volumi alle
condizioni standard di riferimento. In funzione della ver-
sione “SOFTWARE” il Fiomec può essere impiegato sia
nelle applicazioni di tipo volumetrico (Fiomec 1...) sia di
tipo venturimetrico (Fiomec 2..., 4...).
Il Fiomec è un’apparecchiatura elettronica che, operan-
do sulle diverse grandezze in ingresso, le elabora tra-
sformandole in portate e volumi corretti mettendole a
disposizione sia per una lettura locale (stampante o
display) sia per una lettura remota (telelettura) che per
un telecontrollo.
La serie Fiomec 4... è prevista per due canali indipen-
denti di misura.
Tutte le operazioni di programmazione sono completa-
mente guidate dalla macchina ed agevolate da un chia-
ro e semplice dialogo uomo/macchina.
OVERVIEW
The Fiomec Computer is a multi-processor measuring
system, particularly suitable for gas custody transfer,
wich can convert volumes to standard reference con-
ditions.
Depending on the software version involved, the
Fiomec can be used either in combination with turbine
meters (Fiomerc 1...) or with orifice pletes (Fiomec 2...,
4...).
The Fiomec is an electronic systeml with turbine wich,
operating on the various inputs, processes them and
converts them to correct flow rates and volumes. It
makes these data available for local reading (printed or
displayed) both for remote reading and remote control.
Fiomec Series 4... is provided with two independent
measuring channels. All the programming operations
are completely guided by the machine and are simpli-
fied by a clear and simple man-machine interface.

CONFIGURAZIONE STANDARD
In questa configurazione il Fiomec è equipaggiato con:
- Unità a membrana con 10 tasti numerici e 10 tasti
funzionali
- Display retroilluminato, a cristalli liquidi, con ottanta
caratteri alfanumerici disposti su quattro righe da 20
caratteri ciascuna
- Orologio datario batterizzato con precisione di un
minuto al mese
- Unità di misura e correzione (con correzione del fat-
tore di comprimibilità calcolato secondo AGA NX19)
- Stampante ad impatto con 24 caratteri per riga
- Alimentatore con batteria in tampone.
Nella configurazione standard il Fiomec prevede appli-

Ingressi: N. 1 trasmettitore 4/20 mA per la misura della
pressione
N. 1 trasduttore di temperatura (PT100) (fre-
quenze da 0,2Hz a 5KHz)
N. 1 emettitore impulsi BF/HF da contatore

STANDARD CONFIGURATION
In this configuration, Fiomec is equipped with:
- Central processor with analog/digital converter, with
a 14-bit resolution
- Membrane typoe keyboard with 10 numeric and 10
function keys
- Back-lit liquid crystal display with 80 alphanumeric
characters arranged in four lines by 20 characters
each
- Battery powered clock/dater with a precision of one
minute per month
- Measuring and correction unit (with correction of the
compression factor calculated in accordance with
AGA NX19)
- Impact printer, 24 characters per line
- Battery powered stand-by power unit.
In the standard configuration, Fiomec provides appli-
cations for:

Input: No. 1 4/20 mA pressure transmlitter.
No. 1 temperature transducer (PT100)
No. 1LF/HF meter impulse emitter
(frequencies from 0.2Hz to 5 KHz)
Output: No. 1 relay output for correct volume pulses.
No. 2 relay outputs for alarms signalling

Input: No. 1 4/20 mA pressure transmitter
No. 1 4/20 mA high Dp (HDp) trasmitter

modem o a P.C., (distanza max. 20 m., velocità = 2400
Baud).
TELECONTROLLO
La scheda modem bidirezionale BPT92 consente l’invio,
ad un Centro remoto di telecontrollo, degli allarmi riguar-
danti le seguenti grandezze: pressione di consegna
Snam, portata corretta, pressione di midura, temperatura
di misura, bnatterie scariche, guasto calcolatore fiscale
ed inoltre altri n° 8 allarmi inerenti segnali digitali posti in
area sicura e/o pericolosa.
REGOLAZIONE
Una delle uscite 4/20 mA può essere utilizzata per la
regolazione proporzionale, integrata e derivativa (azione
P.I.D.) di una valvola limitatrice di portata, o regolazione di
altra variabile, con valore del set point programmabile da
tastiera localmente oppure tramite telecontrollo remoto.
OPZIONI DISPONIBILI
UNITÀ DI TELELETTURA E TELECONTROLLO BPT92
Tale scheda costituisce a tutti gli effetti un modem inte-
grato bidirezionale a chiamata e risposta automatica per
impiego sulla linea telefonica SIP commutata.
Può convivere con apparecchio telefonico d’utenza già
esistente senza dover necessitare di un numero telefoni-
co dedicato. Le caratteristiche di questo modem sono:

Dispositivo esterno di protezione contro le sovratensioni
e le sovracorrenti che potrebbero manifestarsi, sulle
linee telefoniche, durante fenomeni atmosferici.
ALIMENTAZIONE
Tutte le apparecchiature del sistema sono alimentate a
12Vcc attraverso una unità collegata alla rete 110/220
Vca+ 15% 50/60Hz avente una potenza nominale di
15VA. Viene garantita una autonomia di funzionamento,
con assenza di alimentazione da rete, per un: minimo di
6h con batteria in tampone a ricarica automatica.
Filtro Rete di Protezione, interno all’apparecchiatura
sulla linea di alimentazione 220 Vca. Disponibile anche la
versione per alimentazione tramite pannelli fotovoltaici.

REMOTE CONTROL
The bi-directional BPT92 modem board makes it pos-
sible to send, to a Remote Control Centre, alarms con-
cerning the following measurements: receiving pressu-
re, corrected flow rate, pressure and temperature at
the meter, low batteries, general failure; and a further 8
digital alarms placed in safe and/or classified areas.
CONTROLLER
One of the optional 4/20 mA analog outputs can be
used for PI+D control for a flow limitation service, or
control of any other variable, with set-point program-
mable locally from the keyboard, or remotely

BPT92 REMOTE READING AND REMOTE CON-
TROL UNIT
This board is effectively an intefrated bi-directional
modem with automatic calling and answering, for use on
telephone lines. It can be installed alongside the user’s
existing telephone without having to be assigned a dedi-
cated telephone number. This modem’s main features
are as follows:

Speed: 300 Baud
Transmission: 8-bit asynchronous, even parity, one stop bit

External device for protection against any overvoltages
and overcurrents that might occur on telephone lines
under normal atmospheric conditions.
POWER
All the system devices are powered at 12 V dc through a
power module connected to the 110/220 V a.c. +15%
50/60Hz mains supply, having a nominal power of 15VA.
An operating autonomy is guaranteed for a minimum of
6 hours with automatically recharged stand-by battery
power. Mains Protection Filter, within the device for
power lines of 220 V a.c. There is also a version for
powering by photovoltaic panels.
 ESECUZIONE
Tutti i componenti del sistema, esclusi i trasmettitori in
campo, sono installati in armadio con moduli standard e
dotato di porta frontale trasparente con chiusura a chiave
unificata. Il grado di protezione del complesso è IP65.
La temperatura di funzionamento è compresa nel campo
-20°C +50°C ed umidità relativa 95% senza
condensa.L’elaborazione dei dati viene eseguita con un
errore di calcolo non superiore a ±0.03%.
La memoria RAM è batterizzata e consente il manteni-
mento dati in assenza di alimentazione per almeno 150
giorni.
INSTALLAZIONE
Il Fiomec Computer deve essere installato in zona sicura ai
sensi delle norme CEI 64.2 del Novembre 1990. Deve
essere collegato alla rete elettrica 220/110 Vca ±15% con
interruttore autonomo protetto. L’apparato Fiomec è dota-
to, come standard, di dispositivi di protezione da sovra-
tensioni e transitori in corrispondenza degli ingressi di ali-
mentazione di rete 220V e di linea telefonica TELECOM. La
funzione di tali dispositivi di protezione, realizzati specifi-
catamente per l’apparecchiatura, è quella di garantire al
sistema di misura un elevato grado di sicurezza.

- omologazione SNAM n° 9002 (versione venturimetrica);
- omologazione SNAM n° 9203 (versione venturimetrica
bicanale);
- omologazione n° 2G31 dell’Ufficio Federale di
Metrologia Svizzero.
Il Fiomec Computer è stato inoltre sottoposto da parte di
IMQ a prove di conformità allae Raccomandazioni
Internazionali OIML R6 con esito positivo (Rapporto di
prova n. 1250048).

OPERATING
All the system components, except for the field transmit-
ters, are installed in cabinets with standard modules, and
fitted with a transparent frontal with unified key closing.
The degree of protection of the unit is IP65. The operating
temperature is in the range -20°C to +50°C, and the rela-
tive humidity is 95% without condensate. Data processing
is carried out with a calculation error not greater than
±0.03%. The RAM is fitted with a stand-by battery modu-
le, which enables it to work without mains power for at
least 150 days.
INSTALLATION
The Fiomec Computer shall be installed in a safe area,
according to CENELEC Norms. Connection to the main
network of 220/110 Va.c. ±15% with an autonomous pro-
tected switch.
As standard, Fiomec systems are fitted with devices for
protection against overcurrents and transitories corre-
sponding to power inputs from 220V mains and telephone
lines. The function of these protection devices, designed
specifically for the measuring system, is to guarantee a
high level of reliability.
