FIRST SCENE (At the Travel Agency)

Sue and her friends want to go to New Zealand, so they went to a travel agency to

start arranging everything for their trip.

Sue: Hello, my friends and i wish to go to Auckland. Do you have any plan that

may suit us?

Travel Agent: Sure. Do you want to visit a place in particular?

Sue: Well, we don´t actually know for sure, would you suggest us where we can

go?

Travel Agent: Of course. We have a tour around the city, starting in Queen Street,

then Auckland art gallery, after that, a visit to Albert Park and then University of Auckland

which has a very interesting style and, finally one of the main interest places, The Sky

Tower, believe me, you are not going to regret it.

Sue: Sounds really interesting, what do you guys think?

Friend 1: I think it is really nice!

Friend 2: Really cool, but does it cover feeding and stay?

Travel Agent: Naturally, it covers stay and the three meals at the hotel you choose,

however, it doesn´t include any other food you buy outside.

Friend 2: I see, thanks

Friend 3: Another question, what about the insurance? is it included as well?

Travel agent: Of course, insurance is included so you don’t need to worry about

misadventures.

Friend 3: Fantastic, now, what about transportation in the city?

Travel Agent: We have a bus there to take you to all the places mentioned before.

Friend 3: Perfect, thank you very much.

Travel Agent: Do you have any other questions.

Sue: I think that´s enough, thanks, so we want to proceed with the purchase of the

ticket

Travel Agent: Sure. So let´s confirm your destination

Sue: Auckland, New Zealand.

Travel Agent: Is it a one-way or a round trip?

Sue: A round trip please.

Travel Agent: What is the date of departure?

Sue: October 2th, and we want to return on October 11th.

Travel Agent: Okay, one moment please. Do you prefer any airline in specific?

Sue: We would like to pick the cheapest option you find, please.

Travel Agent: So, I will search for economy class right?

Sue: Yes, please.

Travel Agent: Okay, well there’s a flight in the evening of the 2nd, returning in the

evening of the 11th. The cheapest fare we can offer is $3,000 per passenger.

Sue: Hmmm, that´s quite expensive, I thought it was a little cheaper…. What do

you guys think?

Friend 3: You are right Sue. It is a little expensive, but I’ve searched for other dates

and everything is much more expensive in this one, so we should take our chance.

Friend 2: Sally is right, probably we should take it as it has a more reasonable

price.

Friend 1: I don´t mind guys, if you three decide to take it, I agree.

Sue: Ok, that´s true, I will buy it

Friend 2: Ok, let´s do this

Friend 3: All right.

Travel Agent: Ok, fantastic, so I just need some of your info to continue, could you

please tell me your full names and passport numbers.

The four friends: (Hand the travel agent their passports.)

Travel Agent: Okay, could you please wait one moment. Well…. It’s reserved. So

if you decide you can pay now or until thirty days before the trip.

Sue: Great! I think we´re going to pay right now so we don´t have any trouble after.

Travel Agent: Right, may I have your credit card to proceed?

Sue: Sure. Here you are

The other three friends: Thanks Sue, we are going to send you the money right

away.

Sue: Ok, cool

Travel Agent: Alright everything is arranged. Oh, forgot to tell you that your

tickets include free seat selection, so you can select your seats from now at no extra cost,

just enter our page with your reservation code.

Sue: Fantastic, thank you very much for your help.

Travel Agent: You are welcome, have a good rest of the day.
SECOUND SCENE (In the airport)

Sue: ¡Hi guys!

Friend 1: Hi Sue, how was your trip!?

Friend 2: and where have you been?

Sue: Well, I have been traveling around New Zealand and it was incredible.

Friend 1: So, what cities did you visit there?

Sue: Just a few, I’ve been to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Hamilton.

Friend 2: ¡Really!? That´s amazing! What did you do there?

Sue: Well, first, we arrived to Auckland, which is the biggest city of New Zealand,

I visited many places with my friends, we went to Albert Park, Queen street and many

more. After we visited some of the most famous places of Auckland, we decided to go to

other cities as we still had some more time, we really wanted to take advantage of it.

Friend 1: What was the place that you liked the most?

Sue: I would say I really enjoyed going to the Sky Tower, you just have to go there,

it has such an amazing panorama, I had not seen anything like that before, it´s more than

three hundred meters high.

Friend 2: That sounds amazing Sue, and how long did you stay there?

Sue: I just stayed there for around a week, I needed more time

Friend 1: Yes, it was a short trip

Friend 2: Anyway we missed you a lot here

Sue: Oh really? Thank you guys, you are so kind, I missed you too, and I promise I

will take you with me next time we have a trip.

Friend 2: Sounds really nice

Friend 1: Ok let´s do it

Sue: Sure, let´s go home now
