USAGE
 Used to express an action,
which will have finished or
completed before a specific
time in the future.
 Used for permanent actions
 Emphasis on the result of the
action
 To connect the result of a
past action to the present.
 Indicate How much/ How
many have been completed
 To describe an action, activity
or situation which started in
the past and continues up to
the present.
EXAMPLES
1. By 5 o’clock I will have finished my
work.
1. I have taught English for 12 years.
1. He has repaired the car.
2. Someone has stolen her purse. (she
does not have purse with her now)
1. It has taken six years to write this
book.
1. I have known Siti for ten years.
2. He has painted five pictures so far.
