Description of the Business

Kamote Hub is a business founded by six (6) inspiring enthusiast. Kamote

Hub managed to create a new cuisine by basing the product from common

Filipino favourites. Kamote Hub offers unique innovation from a regular sweet

potato into something pertinent into the Filipino taste.

Location of the Business

Corridor near the Marian Theatre of St. Paul University Iloilo.

Funding Requirement and Source of Funds

The business will start by raising a maximum capital of Php 1,500. Each

person from the group will accord a specific amount in order to reach the desired

capital.

Vision

Kamote Hub seeks to be a servant to the ever adventurous tounge of the

Filipino and other food-critics in the world by bringing new taste and new flavor to

the Filipino cuisine which will forever change the food culture of our country.

To create a wide variety of recipes by using the product we are rich in:

Kamote or Sweet Potato. Through this we can help spread the greatness of our

Product Description

Kamote Fries is a special innovation which has a sweet potato as a main

ingredient. It is done through frying the sweet potato in vegetable oil until it

becomes golden brown and served crispy with the mix of sugar or various

flavorings and placed in a plastic cup.

Role of the Owners

The Owners of this business are responsible for catering Kamote Fries, a

unique and delicious recipe made from a regular potato with an innovated

mindset. They provide quality relationship to their valued consumers and

enhance business ethics to their associates.

Proposed Salary

Kamote Hub expect to earn atleast Php 2,000.00 for the entire selling in

order to attain the amount for the capital and to acquire atleast Php 500.00.

Evaluation of Suppliers

The supplier of Kamote Hub will be a local kamote vendor with top quality

kamote and freshly picked from the farm. The selling place of the supplier should

have a clean environmemt that will help the kamote maintain its freshness.

Purchase Procedure

The process that will be taken in purchasing the needed

equipment/ingredients are as follow:

• The purchase will begin if the lack of any vital item in Kamote hub is

identified

• The Kamote hub team will have an agreement to whose service will be

needed and what product shall be chosen.

• Now, the people with the purchasing authority will have to specify how

much is the needed products and the needed equipment.

• Search for potential suppliers is a must in order to have the best products

that will be used to produce the Kamote hub’s specialty.

• When a supplier is selected, negotiations will be done in order to minimize

the used budget and to maximize the quality of the ingredients and equipment

used.

expenses done.

Storage and Inventory Control

The sweet potatoes bought in the market will be stored in a cool, dark, well-

ventilated place, where they will keep fresh for up to ten days. They should be stored

loose and not kept in a plastic bag. Keep them away from exposure to sunlight or

temperatures above 60 degrees F., since this will cause them to sprout or ferment.

Uncooked sweet potatoes should not be kept in the refrigerator, as they will easily mold.

Cooked sweet potatoes will keep for three to five days refrigerated
