Participant Rules and Regulation

1. All Entrants must abide to the following Rules & regulations. Any false
statement given will result in the disqualification of rights to participate in
the: -

2. QUALIFICATION:-
i. Shall be female, unmarried, never been with child and age between
17 to 25 years and must be at least 5ft 6 in tall.
ii. Must be a citizen of The Territory. (Country represents)
iii. Must be of good health, good moral character, possess beauty of
face and figure and with good personality.

3. The Organiser reserves the right to reject or accept any application

received.
4. The judges’ decision in all matters is final and no correspondence will be
entertained.
5. The Organiser shall be the sole authority for interpretation of these Rules &
Regulation. Decision of the Organiser shall be final and binding.
6. In the event that any participants or winners are unable to fulfill her commitment
and comply with the Rules & Regulation, The Organiser shall have the absolute
right to disqualify the said participant as a candidate or winners and she will be
asked to leave the country where the contest is held voluntarily and
immediately.
7. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any monies and valuable belongings
lost by the contestant during The Pageant.

8. The Organiser shall not be held liable in any incidents occurred to the contestant
during The Pageant.
9. The Organiser reserves the right to reject or replace any participant of the Miss
Tourism International 2010 World Final in the event of the disqualification
or the release from participation of such finalist application.
10. In the event of any winners are unable to fulfill her commitment with regards to
the Rules & Regulation of The Pageant and also fail to sign the Winners Contract
Agreement, The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw her title and claim
back all prizes won and re-confer the award to the first or second runner-up.

11. CONTESTANTS MUST COMPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:-

i. To arrive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the contest held from the 12th
December, 2010 and the coronation world final will be held on
December 31, 2010.
ii. To conduct herself properly during the period from her arrivals in Malaysia
to the time of her departure after the contest.
iii. Willing to obey and comply at all times during the period of the pageant
and to attend all functions as requested by The Organiser and shall not be
excused from such non-attendance except prior written consent to The
Organiser.
iv. To allow and permit The Organiser the exclusive right to use all
photographs of the contestant and also for promotion. In this event,
photographs of the contestant are not returnable.
v. To travel with The Organiser’s promotion crew on fashion assignment,
visits to charitable organizations and etc. with prior notice from The
Organiser.
vi. To appear on television, radio, fashion shows or any media for the purpose
of publicity and promotion of the contest.
vii. Not to accept any private engagement during the period of the contest.
Viii. To attend rehearsals promptly when requested by The Organiser.
ix. To submit 4 photographs postcard size (2 facial & 2 full length) which are
non-returnable, together with the official entry form. The Promoter
reserves the right to reject application without photographs.
x. To be equipped with sufficient funds to cover incidental expenses such as
baggage charges. (Please check with your respective airline the Maximum
Weight Allowed)
xi. In the event that she is a winner or runner-up, she is required to stay for a
few additional days in the country where the pageant is held for the post
pageant activities, such as personal appearances, modeling or commercial
advertisement and the like as required.
xii. The contestant will return to her last place of embarkment within two (2)
days or the first available flight after the contest or as ticketed.

12. IF SELECTED AS MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2010 OR RUNNER-

UPS:-
i. She will be managed by The National Director/Sponsor as her Exclusive
Manager under the supervision of The Organiser for a period of one (1)
year from the date of the winning contest.
ii. She should not, by any time thereafter commercially exploit her title in
any way whatsoever except exclusively through and by sole agreement

 with The National Director/Sponsor or The Organiser.
iii. To conduct herself during the reign as Miss Tourism International
2010 or runner-up for the period of one (1) year and not commit any act
of immoral, illegal or other similar nature which in the opinion of The
National Director/Sponsor or The Organiser may damage or bring
disrepute to the title or The Pageant.
iv. She will not enter any female competitions or similar contest for a period
of eighteen months (18) calendar months following the awarding of Miss
Tourism International 2010 title without the prior written consent of
The National Director/Sponsor.
v. She shall appoint The National Director/Sponsor as her exclusive manager
and agent for the period of 12 months at a fee equivalent to 20% of all
monies obtained by her in the capacity as Miss Tourism International
2010 in respect of personal appearances, advertising, photographic
projects whether commercial or otherwise which may undertaken by the
office.

13. THE ORGANISER’S COMMITMENT TO THE CONTESTANT:-

i. She will be met at the airport at the time of her arrival and be assisted at
her departure. Early notice prior to arrival or departure must be provided.
ii. That she will be provided with suitable hotel accommodation and meals
during the entire duration of the Pageant. Any other expenses incurred
such as room service, telephone calls, telegrams, cables, additional food
and beverages will be to the personal account of the contestant.
iii. To provide local transportation to all contestant itinerary and schedules.
iv. To provide security and chaperon for contestant for the entire period of
the contest.
v. To control, advice, assist, supervise and direct the contestant as to her
conduct and well being during the contest.

14. IF CHOSEN AS MISS TOURISM INTERNATIONAL 2010, THE

ORGANISER AGREES TO PAY THE WINNER IN MALAYSIA RINGGIT THE CASH
PRIZE AS FOLLOWS:-

Miss Tourism International 2009 RM10,000.00

First Runner-Up RM 5,000.00
Second Runner-Up RM 3,000.00
Third Runner-Up RM 2,000.00
Fourth Runner-Up RM 2,000.00

All other winners shall be paid in full except for Miss Tourism International
2009 which will receive the following:
50% upon winning the contest &
50% upon completion of the winner’s reign and return to crown the new
Miss Tourism International 2010 Winner.
