Sanitation Code
➔ Strengths
◆ The strength of this code is that this will be the basis or the standard of
the sanitation in the business establishments private and public.
◆ This law is focusing on sanitation and it promotes the safety of people
here in the Philippines from communicable diseases and other diseases
from the food we eat, the water we drink, and the places that we used to
go.
➔ Weaknesses
◆ The law is obsolete because it was implemented in Marcos time.
◆ The law is not followed. We can still see many establishments not
following the bill and they are contributing to the pollution.
◆ The law is not well implemented.
◆ The law is not focusing on the community.
➔ Opportunity
◆ This law gives many opportunities for businesses to provide a good
service to the people.
◆ The law gives new businesses ideas to the people and jobs related to
sanitation.
◆ To have a cleaner environment.
◆ To have a sustainable and healthy life.
➔ Threat
◆ Politicians and businessmen taking advantage of the law.
◆ People are not aware of this law so they don’t know what should be the
right and the responsibility.
➔ Modifications
◆ They should make the law short and understandable to the people.
◆ They should update the law because it is really outdated.
◆ When it comes to requirements they should make it clear and easy and
even the fees they should make it a standard.
◆ The government should make a move to make this known to the people.
◆ The law should be implemented also in the community not only for
establishments.
Clean Air Act
➔ Strengths
◆ This law priority is to have a healthy air quality for us.
◆ This law promotes the right of having the air quality.
◆ Programs to encourage people to focus on pollution prevention.
◆ The law considers the negative effects of pollutants to our air and to our
life.
➔ Weakness
◆ Not enforced law.
◆ The law is lacking implementation.
◆ Some people are not aware of the law.
◆ The law is lacking solutions for air pollution for the violators.
➔ Opportunity
◆ This law gives an opportunity for scientists to discover some new
inventions that will not hurt our environment and will help the air
condition here.
➔ Threats
◆ Politicians and businessmen will take advantage of this corrupting the
money.
◆ The law threatens so many factories, local transportation ,and businesses
related to electronics cause they are one of the major contributors of air
pollution.
➔ Modifications to the law
◆ It should be revised.
◆ The law should give some consideration for public transportation.
◆ The law should give way for the scientist to get involved in the law.
◆ Make it more mandatory that if it is not a smoking area there will be no
smoking.
◆ Standard the penalty for the punishment and strictly implement it.

Generic Act
➔ Strengths
◆ This law promote use of generic drugs
◆ This law ensure also to have an adequate supply of drugs at the lowest
possible cost so that it is available for the indigents patients
◆ Promote drug safety
➔ Weakness
 ◆ The public safety is not ensured with the law cause they are promoting
the generic drug and some are not effective.
◆ Promoting with low cost medicine means low quality.
◆ The law doesn’t state the safest store to buy generic drugs.

◆ For industry business to produce some generic drugs
◆ For scientist to develop new generic drug here in the philippines
◆ For us to have a better healthcare system.

◆ People’s health and safety cause it can kill them
