have plenty of water for the farms. Given by so many gifts like mountains,
fields, and shores which are next to our needs. Composed of 40 barangays
which composed of honorable people and rich in golden hearts who are
faithful to their jobs or works. Famous for muscovado red sugar, bandi, and
weaving. Which is a source of their living and sustain the needs of their
family.

describing or narrating the traditions, people, culture, and history of Lauan-

and low-key jolly melody for the listeners like me.
Lyrics/content O Banwa Ko Nga Laua-an
Music and Lyrics by Dante Beriong

Banwa sa sentral nga bahin kang probinsya

Sa kahoy nga laua-an ikaw nakilala
Ang kap-atan nimo nga mga barangay
Iririmaw sa pagpasad kabuhing masulhay

Banwa kang tatlo nga mga kasubaan

Ang Paliwan, ang Laua-an, kag ang Cairawan
Bugana sa tubig para sa kaumahan
Kung sa diin makita isda nga dalumpingan

O banwa ko nga Laua-an

Kang makaako ikaw ginbugayan
Imong bukid, patag, kag baybayon
Tabig kang amon mga kinahanglanon
O banwa ko nga Laua-an
Dungganon ang imong katawhan
Manggaranon sa bulawanon nga taguipusuon
Banwa kang Lauan-on matutom sa ubra
Bantog sa muscovado kalamay nga pula
Sa pagdihon kang koron, bandi kag sa pagrara
Tungod sa pangtan-an gasagod kang pamilya
Significance/relevance This is part of my identity, Laua-an’s identity. This serve as a summary of
our culture, tradition, and history of Laua-an. Through this song we are able
