Two words that describe a person’s competence ‘“ knowledge and skill!

At first glance, both of them

seem synonymous but give it some thought and today I will try to give info about both of them are very
different concepts. Knowledge refers to learning academic, theoretical. Knowledge is about knowing
your field well in a structured way. It's about knowing the concepts, the terminology. It's about being
able to use concepts from one field to another, to spot patterns between things. It's being able to
discuss your field with a peer, or read technical papers about it. Knowledge also gives us opportunity to
think outside of box, I mean wisely and adding information easily

Knowledge is about knowing what, and why as opposed to the skills which is more practical avenue.
Knowledge is about knowing, skill is about  feeling that about knowing  how to do, how to organize. Skill
refers to the ability of using that information and applying it in a context. In other words, knowledge
refers to theory and skill refers to successfully applying that theory in practice, case, in life and getting an
expected results.  Skill doesn't demand you be able to explain how to do something, just that you can do
it yourself that you can be born with a talent for something that you're skillful without really learning
what it is.

Knowledge example

Everyone is familiar with the quote, “knowledge is power. Take the example of a skilled artist who has no
information or knowledge related to painting. He just knows how to play with color. In case he is given
an order with special instructions he will surely get confused. On the other hand, a person with the right
knowledge will surely find a solution.

Lawyer without Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations,
executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process cannot operate in law sector even
though has a personal skills such as communicating, writing academic and critical thinking.

Skill example

To take an example, consider driving a car. Knowledge is knowing the structure of the car, the physical
processes that take place, knowing what all the instruments do. But even if you don't know any of those
things, skill is about knowing how to drive. Not knowing that the left pedal is called the clutch does not
preclude you from driving, it's a piece of knowledge, it's not a piece of skill. But being able to press in
that pedal, at the right speed, and release it just when it needs to be released, that is skill what im
talking about. Instructor or tutor only provide with knowledge you will never get the exact solution
that timing, angles you will only get guidelines.  if tutor were able to tell you exactly how
he does it, it would not help you anyway, because everything you have to do depends on
your own sentiment or senses that are not known in advance.

Conclusion

Knowledge and skills are intertwined. They are also mutually beneficial.  Knowledge and
skills both have a purpose and the best curricula ensure the right balance between them.
They are inseparable and, ‘intimately linked with each other.
