Your teacher is organising a seminar-workshop for Form 5 school leavers to prepare them for
life’s challenges. She has suggested two venues and she has asked you to write a talk to
persuade your classmates to choose one of the venues.

In your talk, include the following:

20 marks for the quality of your writing.

Section B : Continuous Writing

Write a composition of about 350 words on one of the following topics.

1. Describe an interesting outing to a place near your town.

2. Most people believe that social media is a distraction to teenagers. What do you
think?

3. Why are hobbies important for the development of an individual?

4. Write a story beginning with : “It amazes me what that kid can do!”

5. ‘It’s no use crying over spilt milk.’

Write about a family member who experienced this situation.
