Presenter- Good morning/afternoon/evening, welcome to your number one
TV station news and updates. I am your host/anchor (Name here) taking you
through this session. Stay tuned…
First of all, I would like to introduce you to our todays guests which are…
Names..
Today we are going to have a debate on “Solar Energy the need of the Hour”.
so first of all I would like to tell what Solar Energy is...
Solar energy is radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-
evolving technologies such as solar heating, photovoltaics, etc. and nowadays when we are
not left with enough fuel and energy so we should think for sustainable development and
needs of our future generation and this debate has been organised for that only as our chief
minister has recently announced that from January 2021 onwards 20% of state electricity will
be produced from solar energy and for that the contract of solar panel manufacturing has
been given to “Peliance Industries”. So I would like to request to our chief minister to briefly
explain the recent announcements to our viewers

Aryan Gahlaut-
First of all I would like to tell you that in early years when there was no such
type of technology then we used to generate electricity by thermal power plant
due to which lot of waste was produced and we are not having any proper
method to reuse those waste products and so we discussed about it with our
party members and concluded that if we can’t reuse it we can reduce it and
can use a new method such as solar energy to fulfil the need of electricity with
less pollution and this project has been given to Peliance Industries to provide
us with high quality solar panels and other accessories for generating
electricity.
Presenter- …so can we take it as a partnership between government and the
Peliance company as the contract has been given to this company so it is up
to the company that which quality product they will use and what will be their
charges??
Aditya – yes it is a great step
Gautam- …exactly, I also see it as a partnership between the company and
the government as this can increase corruption as you said that the contract
has been given to the company……
(meanwhile)Aditya- no, no you are taking it in wrong way….this could even
lead us to a better future as people can generate their own electricity.currently
a lot of regions in india faces problem related to electricity which has become
basic human needs.
presenter- sir let him complete first, please…
Gautam- your party people always do this, they always interept in between
and never let others to speak…
presenter-sir, please continue what you were saying don’t fight here it’s a
debate on Solar energy not a show of showcasing politics so please
understand…
Gautam- sir I was saying that as the contract has been given to the company
so there would be an increase in corruption as in a way the company will be
having a complete hold on the contract so it’s there choice that which quality
product they are utilising in this project and on how much cost they are
providing these product….
Aditiya- sir, sir are you trying to say that our company is not eligible for these
kind of projects?? , if you are thinking so then I would like to confirm you that
the whole project will be completed in the presence of a government
representative and all the bill of all the products used will be given to the govt
and there will be no chance of any complaint…
Gautam- sir I am not putting a question on your company, I am questioning
the honesty of people of the type of persona others are having…/First,
solar cells are hardly clean. They contain heavy metals that
can leach into groundwater when disposed at the end of
their lifecycle.
Aryan- cleaning is not a serious matter
Gautam- does it have any advantages for poor people

Those farmers with space can

Aditya- YES, it has even
generate solar electricity. Farm tractors should switch to
electricity using interchangeable battery packs. Farms have
the machinery to change a battery pack. Tractors using
lightweight electric motors will need the weight provided by
the batteries
Aryan- yes , What are you saying (mr gautam)??.... think before you speak..
Negrah- sir please don’t fight pls let him complete…..please be silent....
please…
Aryan- what please he is speaking whatever he wants to say…
Negrah- sir please be silent otherwise I will be have to mute you both, please
speak one by one….
Aryan- what type of cheap person you are in these type of conditions, in the
time of energy control you are thinking of profit and all that, you should be
shameful for that..
Gautam(meanwhile)- this is not my cheapness, making of solar panels in a
large amount will require a lot of money

Sanchit- I totally agree with Mr. Kejriwal , it

even takes power to make
power. Humans use dirty fossil fuels because their energy
is dense, portable, storable, fungible and transformable into
other products
Aditya- even current processing of electricity requires a lot of use of fossil fuel
and we are trying our best to reduce the use of fossil fuels for this project with
greater outcome
Presenter-anything, mr gautam
Gautam-Inconsistent solar energy requires back-up sources  Because solar energy cannot
supply energy at night and is dependent on good weather, it requires back-up sources of energy to
fill the gaps

Sanchit-yes This means that solar power's inconsistency has negative consequences for the
environment.

Aryan- what do u mean?

Aditya-everything has its own pros and cons .it has more advantages than
disadvantages it is an one time instalment and   solar batteries are very simple to
impose disposal regulations on the suppliers and users of solar energy systems.

Negrah- yes, very true, now

I want to ask to Mr. M. S. Verma about how this type of energy generation can
help us?
Mayank- Yes, yes I think that this type of energy generation is very helpful and
it’s a good step by the government….
Aryan- thanks for your compliment sir
sanchit- what about its cost , u know how much its components price
Aryan nd gataum shouting(this is not correct)
Negrah- yes
Mayank- sir please be silent, let me complete… please sir let me finish…
Negrah- mr Gautam if you are not going to be silent I will not willing have to
mute you and that will be very degraceful for you..
Gautam- sir but we have to give answer to these people otherwise they will
say whatever they want
Aditya- it is environment friendly as many resources produce harmful and foul
smell while solar does not
Sanchit-Solar panels are heavy, permanent installations. They are nearly impossible to move if
one decides to buy a new home.

Mayank-. It is wrong to argue that it is too difficult to remove solar panels, for maintenance or
to transport them to a new household. They are as easy to remove and transport as they are to
deliver and install.

Sanchit- it costs too much how will government manage they will end up increasing tax

Mayank-this is some serious issue

Gautam- yes,answer that

Aditya-yes, due to the governments help we have even this situation at control we will not use
forieign made products and will produce parts in india

Aryan- this will also provide employmet to thousands of unemployed

Now that LED lighting can run

Mayank- that is a very great step and since

on DC, there is no reason why all domestic lighting should

not switch and save a further 50 per cent on the cost of low-
energy bulbs or 90 per cent on filament ones.
Aditya- yes we have done this project very carefully and at
a very low budget plan
Sanchit-i don’t think this will have a low budget
Negrah- thats good. Lets end
