Mathematics and Science Month 2019

I. ST. GREGORY FEAST
Objective: The purpose of the upcoming mass is to take the students nearer to God by means of
having a joyful and solemn song with the choir who leads the praise and worship to be followed
by the message of the Priest. Student and Teachers are expected to participate in this program
that will be held at St. Gregory College of Valenzuela.

Procedure:

September 2020
I. Slogan Making Activity
Objective: To emphasize the importance of the awareness to the COVID 19 pandemic

Procedure:
1. The Grade 7 students must prepare an Oslo paper, coloring materials, ruler, and pencil.
2. This slogan making activity is open for Grade 7 students only.
3. The student will create their own slogan about the awareness on the COVID 19 pandemic.

September 2020
I. Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician Cosplay Activity
Objective: To promote the famous scientists/inventors/discoverers/mathematician that gives
important development in the world through cosplay

Procedure:
1. The photo editing activity is open for Grade 9 students only.
2. Each student must choose a famous Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician.
3. All of them must edit their own picture as their chosen
Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician.
4. Each student must make it as their profile picture in their Facebook account to promote their
chosen Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician
5. They must put #MathematicsAndScienceWeek2020 in the caption.

September 2020
I. Bookmark Making Activity
Objective: To create a bookmark with a quotation from their chosen
Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician

Procedure:
1. This activity is open for Grade 8 students only.
2. They must prepare a 2’x 8’ inches folder and art materials
3. Each student must create a bookmark with a quotation from their chosen
Scientist/Inventor/Discoverer/Mathematician.

September 2020
I. Science Experiment
Objective: To explain simple phenomena through a science experiment
Procedure:
1. This activity is open for Grade 10 students only.
2. Each student must create a science experiment
3. The students must take a video of themselves and submit it to their science teacher.
