OUTBOARD ENGINEER

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree I Master’s Degree in Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven record as Outboard Engineer or any relevant experience for 3-5 years
• Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems
• Hands on Experience in marine hydraulic systems and related parts
• Ability to analyze and solve problems with high level of expertise
• Comprehensive knowledge of Speedboat steering systems

Responsibilities:
• Design and oversee testing, installation, and repair of marine apparatus and equipment.
• Maintain the mechanical propulsion systems of a marine vessel, including the engines,
pumps, boilers and generators.
• Refueling, starting the engines and regulating engine speed and power in accordance with
directions.
• Diagnosis & maintenance of major / minor issues. Repair defective engines or engine
components.
• Overhauling - schedule machine overhauls and the servicing of electrical, heating,
ventilation, refrigeration, water, and sewage systems.
• Perform routine engine maintenance on motorboats, such as changing oil and filters.
• Inspect and repair or adjust propellers or propeller shafts. Analyzes defects and adjusts
or repairs electrical and mechanical systems of outboard motors.
• Replaces parts, such as gears, magneto points, piston rings, and spark plugs, and
reassemble engines.
• Conducting environmental, operational, or performance tests on marine machinery and
equipment.

Salary: Negotiable based on Experience & Qualification
