Through investigation, Barwell County deputies and SLED agents were able to identify: witnesses in the case and obtained subsequent statements identifying Dean ‘Troy Stevens as the offender, On September 18, 2020, SLED agents interviewed Dean Troy Stevens, ‘who admitted to possessing a firearm and shooting and killing Jeremy Craddock. ‘The above information was revealed through the joint investigation of the Bamwell County / Bamberg County Sheriff Deputies, and SLED Special Agents J. Croft and 1. Lundell, along with the defendant's statement and witness statements, o prove the same against the form of the statute in such ‘ease made and provided against the peace and dignity of the State.
