typhoid etc.
Problems:
1. Shortage of skilled manpower.
2. Aging of distribution pipes in many areas causing major leakage
from the system.
3. Interruption of electric supply.
4. Financial Constraints.
Future plans:
1. A modern quipped laboratory for testing of water will be
installed.
2. To expand the area of coverage of water supply.
Comments of the students:
It is very surprising, interesting and matter of proud that an
organization started 19 years ago is still running successfully. This
organization must go without any political interference and the other
limitation towards achieving the goals. As water borne diseases are
the major problems of country and safe water supply can play a vital
role in this matter. We feel, this plant should be a modern and model
organization for the country.
