Identify and discuss at least three business ideas that your team would want to consider for
your new venture. Evaluate the business ideas to reach a consensus among your team
members. Write a short abstract describing (approximately 250 words) your final business
idea that you have decided to take further. Prepare a brief presentation (about 4-5 slides)
for your class.

Ans: ​The three business ideas are given below:

1) Online Transportation Registration
2) Hamro Kishan
3) Automatic Tank

1) Online Transportation Registration: It is an online platform where the customers can make
reservations for the vehicle seats for long distance travel. In this platform various transportation
organizations would register their vehicle and the customers would be able to choose the
organization, its vehicle, date , time as well as the seat they prefer to travel.

2) Hamro Kishan: It is an online platform where fresh groceries items are delivered to the
customers. On this platform, customers can buy fresh vegetables from any vendor that is nearby,
place an order, select delivery date and time, or place a request for items that are not
listed​.

3) Automatic Tank: It is a sensory device where a water tank would automatically fill itself
when the water level in the tank is low. The water level of the tank can be viewed through
mobile application and the application would be able to control the sensor as well.

Among the three ideas presented above, Hamro Kishan was selected for future ventures because
the idea seems to be most feasible at the time as well as of necessity. The idea is further

Abstract
The work schedule in today’s world is very hectic making time a real constraint. This has
created an impact on people's food consumption habits. People prefer to buy foods that can be
stored for a long duration of time as they do not have time to buy items that are fresh and of
nutritional value. The vendors who sell such items are losing customers as they have become out
of reach due to a busy lifestyle. This is why we introduce the idea of Hamro Kishan. It is an
online groceries shopping platform which not only helps the farmers reach their customers but
also allows them to work on a time schedule that is flexible to them. The customers can browse
through the website, place order, delivery date and time, or place a request for items that are not
listed and vendors nearby would check their order, confirm it and prepare for shipment. For
example people from areas such as Jorpati, Boudha can contact any local farmers near the
location such as Mulpani or sankhu to place their order. The shipment can only be done by an
authorized person whereas the payment can be done through an online platform itself or provide
cash on delivery. This application encourages local farmers, providing them a platform to sell
their products to nearby customers. The idea proposed is Business to consumer model( B2C) as
the service directly provided to end users. The vision of the idea is to connect customers to the
local farmers.
