To print your Vance Spell deck, set

your double-sided printer to short-


edge binding and print on a cardstock
material. Then, with a sharp utility
knife and straight edge, use the crop
marks as guides to trim the cards
apart.

If you don’t have a double-sided


printer, print the pages individually
and then glue them back-to-back with
a thin, even coat of adhesive. Before
glueing, hold the back-to-back sheets
up to a light source to ensure they are
lining up correctly.

The gutters between the cards give


you a little bit of leeway if the two
sides do not line up exactly.

TIDES OF WAR
Level: 9
I greatly affect the outcome of a battle that is currently
in progress. The fight must involve more than two
figures, but no more than two sides. I do not have to
be directly involved, but I can be. If I am not involved,
the entire battle must take place within very long
range of where I stand. One side that I designate
adds +2 to all attacks and to damage inflicted. The
opposing side suffers a penalty of –2 to all attacks.
Further, at one point in the battle, I can designate one
target and for one round all damage they would suffer
is negated (they are effectively immune to damage
that round).
Depletion: Ends automatically at the end of the battle
