Dear Pastor Jeremy,

Greetings!

May the peace and love of Jesus Christ be with you always! It is my pleasure to write
this letter to you and I'm so thankful to God to this wonderful opportunity that He gave
us to know each other and as well through Ma'am Archil Daugherty, the faithful servant
of God.

My name is Mhark Jhon Mabanag, 23 years of age, a naturalized-born Filipino and

currently living in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, Philippines, 6015. I was first introduced to Lord
Jesus Christ way back 2008, but before that I've been living in a worst and sinful life in
which I've done awful things; being so ambitious kid that it leads into robbed my
grandma and brought shame to our family. Also, I lived in the life in which I'm so
religious person and even though I prayed and prayed but there's nothing changes
happening to. I've been a member of Legion of Mary before in the Roman Catholic
Church. That's my life before I met Jesus. In 2008, the Philippines Sunbeam Missions of
Hope (PSMH) came into our school here in my hometown in Bohol, Philippines, and
conducted the 10th Values Formation and Leadership Training and that was I met
Ma'am Archil and Jethro. When I was second year, I already heard that they are already
doing camps in our school as well as they invited youths in every school to be part of
the camp in Camp Karis. I was so eager to join but unfortunately, since I don't have
money to pay the registration fee, I didn't get a chance to join the camp. Then one time
Ma'am Archil and the rest of the staff came into our school and our principal asks us to
spare our little time to hear on stage on what Ma'am Archil delivers a message to us
and they're doing a skit on the puppet on which two friends are being used by the
enemy and they are quarreling each other and by the time the Word of God came to
them and they accept Jesus as Lord and Savior the strings attached to them are cut
and they are freed. Of course my heart didn't understand well the skit and as well as the
message delivered. God has truly have a wonderful plan for me because time came that
the Philippines Sunbeam Missions of Hope came into our school and having a camp, I
was so very excited since I've been in the first batch. Then the day came of the camp, I
was so early and didn't returned home since its too far from my school and I already
prepared everything, at the start of the camp, I was so very energetic and active to hear
the first message for the night, and it feels so weird to see because I didn't understand
everything on what the speaker said, but the other students on my batch has already
crying. Next morning on the camp, I felt so cold after I took a bath and I feel its not nice
to join in any activities, I consulted to my Teen Counselor and she found I have a fever
and guess what I didn't take part the treasure hunting games. After the activity, we're
having Round Robin sessions, at first I tried to barge in every lesson but still I didn't
make it. Suddenly, night came in and I'm in my room sleeping, someone from my batch
called for a dinner and I got down taking my portion. I think someone or my Teen
Counselor told Ma'am Archil that I got fever and never joined in any activities. That time,
Ma'am Archil share to me everything about Christ and I feel Jesus touched me at that
very moment, that's the I met Jesus Christ in my life and accepted Him as my Lord and
Personal Savior. Ma'am Archil said that I could still get a chance to join the camp for the
next batch. Yes, I'm so very happy to hear that since I didn't enjoyed well the activities
during the camp. Still when I joined the second batch, I suddenly have a fever again but
that time I don't let the fever rule over me, I didn't mind that, instead I joined treasure
hunting and other activities during the camp and most of the activities our team got a lot
of wins during the activities. I really think that during the camp, the enemy never let me
to join or hear the Word of God during the camp in order to change me. During camps, I
really inspired on the Teen Counselors and I really want to become part of Philippines
Sunbeam Missions of Hope teaching and inspiring others through Jesus Christ. God
answered my prayers to become part of PSMH as Teen Counselors and we've done
Values Formation and Leadership Training Camps and seminars in Bohol. Through
PSMH, aside from they introduced me to Jesus Christ, they help me grow, know God
more and walked by faith.

As part of my learning’s and trainings in PSMH, I applied it and have my 1st DVBS in
Baucan, Balilihan, Bohol during my college alone and together with God in which there
was no support from somebody but by the grace of God and by faith, the DVBS ended
successfully and the kids were so happy. From materials things to financial, God
provided me that all. Let me attach some photos of Baucan DVBS activities. Hopefully, I
pray to Lord Jehovah that this coming 3rd week of April that He will once again opened
the Baucan, Balilihan, Bohol for the 2nd DVBS and I pray that God will provide all the
materials and needs during the DVBS.

Everything's change in me from the time I encountered Jesus Christ in my life than
before, from ambitious kid and robber, brought shame to my family into God's servant,
sharing and inspiring other youth through Jesus Christ. I'm so happy and thankful
through PSMH and Ma'am Archil Daugherty by her hard work, faithfulness and
obedience to Lord Jehovah that I met Jesus Christ in my life.

Right now, from the Teen Counselor I desired before, turns out into one of the PSMH
Staff appointed as acting Secretary and together with Jethro appointed as President of
PSMH. Jethro is my brother in Christ and as well he is the nephew of Ma'am Archil.
We're both products in PSMH and right now we've been working together to established
the PSMH - Visayas Youth Outreach here in the Philippines and by this coming
Tuesday, April 4, 2017, we will go to Securities and Exchange Commission or SEC in
Cebu to Register the PSMH, making designs for T-shirts and Modules as well as
discussing further plans on PSMH.

Pastor Jeremy, I'm so grateful and thankful to God that in all of these years in my life
that He chose me to serve Him and to be part of PSMH, His ministry to share the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to every Filipino youths. I always pray to Lord Jesus Christ for
success of PSMH here in Visayas and as well as in the whole Philippines and also
praying for the upcoming DVBS in Baucan, Balilihan, Bohol in this month of April. As
fellow workers in Christ, can you please help me pray and share insights, advice or
guidance working in the Ministry of God? It is a pleasure to me to learn more knowledge
and wisdom working in God's Mission field from you.
