Activity1. Using the Decision-making wheel as guide, resolve the given dilemma below.
Comprehensively provide your answer.

2. Will David tell the truth or lie to their school principal?

3. David might lose one of his friends who created the web page by breaking their promise or he might
commit a sin for not telling the truth to their school principal.

4. Telling the truth is necessary if you're an ethical person.

5. David might feel guilty if he will not tell the truth and might also feel sorry for his friend if he will tell
the truth.

6. David is an ethical person. He must make wise decisions in this kind of situation in order for him to
solve this problem.

7. The best people who can help in this kind of situation are his parents.

8. He must tell the names of the people who made this web page to their principal.

9. David is an ethical person, so telling the truth is the best way to handle this kind of problem than
being guilty for not telling the truth and the school might not be able to solve the problem.
Let’s Analyze

1.In creating personal decisions, especially with career and other vital aspects of your
life, how do you resolve conflict between what you want to do and what your parents,
family,or friends wants you to do? How do you usually feel and think about situations
like these? How do you usually manage it?
I will resolve the conflict between what I want to do and what my parents, family, or friends want
me to do by thinking that I should just do anything that I want to do, as long as it will help me to
become a better person and achieve what I want in life.
Sometimes I feel confused on who I should follow and think on how to deal with the situation. I
manage it by thinking about it deeply and asking for God's help for me to have an easier way of
solving this kind of situation.

Let’s Check

1. Is it easier to think of situations that held negative consequences or positive

rewards?
Why?
- It is easier to think of situations that held positive rewards, because I am dealing
with the situation thinking about the good things that I can get from it or the
benefits of it instead of worrrying about the negative consequences that I can get
from the situation.

2. Do you think about the possible outcomes before you act? Or do you act first
and then worry about the consequences later?

- I think about the possible outcomes before I act because I want to make a
decision without regretting about it later on.
Let’s Analyze
Activity1. In this part, you are once again required to elaborate thoroughly your answer on the
Questions below

1.Remember a specific moment in your life where you are contained with so much
Emotions that you felt you are going to explode? What had brought you to that
situation? What happened during that time? How did you manage yourself back then?
What Important learning have you acquired out of that experience?

- Yes, being filled with so much joy because of achieving something, like passing my
subjects, brought me to that situation. At that time, I was so grateful to God because He
answered my prayers.I managed myself back then by staying humble and keeping up
the good work for me to achieve more things in life.
- The important learning that I have acquired during that experience is to be a
hardworking person and I must ask the help from God to guide me in all of my ways. I
also learned to be humble if I have achieved something that I wanted in life.
