The tax levied by LMC to raiwlay is illegal as per the

Civil Court ruled in favour of railways and LMC was
asked to refund the ntire tax collected from 1931 to
1954 1954 to raiways with annual interesst of 6%.
A small scale bearing manufacturing unit established.

Second factory in Tungarli for manufacture of colour
under the name of Lakaki
This city was known as Lonauli during
ancient times.

There was no railway station at Lonavala in


1858.

96 citizens took objection.1. The population


may reduce due to migration of workers who
were working on various projects at that
time. 2.Shifting of Rly. Workshop to
Matunga.

7.2.1877. As per the description of the limits


of LMC, the area was 4 sq. miles.
