“Economic Distribution “

Economic Distribution has processes to undergo for a fair and maximum

use of resources. Should this be based on equality? Income? on who are deserving? Or
merely based on the government’s decision? We all have something to say because we
all are part to the economy. By being an ordinary citizen even not having a licensed of
an economist there are still basis on answering this, there are a lot of things we
consider and sometimes this can be dependent to our situation to what we do in life.
Personally, I should be based on equality. Being equal is has nothing to
discuss with. It simply giving the same amount to everyone else. I believe that the extra
we can have in life will never be given by someone else. There are people who have so
much with them because also of them. Maybe we do not have the same opportunity, but
we cannot always complain on this thought. The economic distribution will be fairly done
by equal basis. It will become subjective if you will decide based on what you do and in
what you have. There are pros and cons with all the given possible basis but this could
be less hassle if discussed.
If we will base it on the income, it will affect the people’s view on working
itself. Most of the total economic profit will be given to people who has smaller income
then the people who actually impact the economic growth could retreat on giving
personal benefits. We all are aware that private sectors sometimes help more the
people who are in need than the government. Another effect is it will demotivate people
by finding jobs and purely relying on what is given to them. The tracking of income will
be hassle because there are a lot of untraceable sources of income. There are a lot of
loopholes in depending on this basis of distribution.
In the basis of giving what a person deserves, we will once again be
subjective with this. There is none accurate measurement to ones worth and to
measure what they deserve. It is a broad discussion and need more time by conducting
an operation to test. There will no assurance at all. For example, the government say
that this is what you only deserve but for your comprehension you deserve more than
that then there will be unending negotiations and arguments. People will always be
dependent on their interest and getting more of what is intended for them. The total
profit will not accommodate all population with the basis of everyone’s measured
deserving rates.
 Government’s decision will also depend on their self-understanding.
Anytime their self-interest will prevail and could easily control the distribution. We can
say that it could be done with transparency but there are a lot of ways not to disclose
everything to people. We are in a democratic country, giving these officials the right to
decide is also disregarding our rights.
In conclusion, all are complex and what we need is collaboration and to
fully used everything in majority’s benefit. Ones’ progress is not equivalent to ones’
chance of progress as well. In all aspects in economy equality should be possessed
because whatever the economic resources and profit we can have the basis will always
back at basic. Economic profit does not serve number of people only it serves the whole
nation and why would it be unfair when it is equal?
