• Provide assistance with patients’ activities of daily living

• Observe patient’s physical and emotional changes, reporting changes to nurses
• Perform specimen collection; urine, stool, sputum and phlebotomy, glucose testing
• Obtain and document Intake & Output, take EKG’s
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes and wound irrigation
• Assist with catheter insertion and perform catheter care
• Anticipate incoming patients by preparing rooms and maintaining proper equipment.
• Perform bladder scans, records and report findings.
• Monitor patient’s safety as direct; 1:1 observation, suicide precautions
• Assist team members in emergency situations providing CPR during codes.
• Assist nurse in procedures such as MRI and CT Scans.
