Role of Tv on building minds of children

Television is just like a lot of things, it can be educational or it can be a

waste of time. It's absolutely true. Television can be very effective in shaping
children's minds. It is the nearest tool to children's hearts, this is why it's the most
likely to reach their minds; they have plenty of learning opportunities not only
through scientific and historical channels but also through all the educational
programs and even cartoons.

For educational, television can be used as an effective way to build the

minds of children by teaching them a lot of languages like English, French,
Arabic ... etc. also Tv has a lot of programs which teach them science, art,
geography and history. From the religion programs they can get a lot of values
such as respecting the older help poor people, and to get good behaviors like
honesty and to tell the truth. Carton programs teach them how to think quickly and
expect events before it happen and that can develop the intelligence in their minds.
Tv can develop their talents also in how to draw, dance, sing ...etc. Tv has a big
role to make them like work in groups and to be collaborators because
it teaches them to sit with their families or friends to watch it. So a lot of
researches confirm that children who watch Tv they can be star students and more
intelligent than the children who did not watch it. So you should help your children
to reach the top by all the ways and be sure that Tv is not a bad inventor it
just dependents on your use of it.  

We should be aware about Tv because it can also be a tool of destruction for

children. Some tv programs have a very bad effect on children's minds and way of
thinking. They do not have any intellectual basis that would enhance kids'
reasoning. There is no call for any critical thinking. Such TV programs or channels
just turn our kids into dumb, mindless human-like machines that are unable to
judge things wisely nor to see the full image clearly with all its aspects and sides.

As well as, Television is an effective way to build some parts of the minds of
children, but by itself at this current time television isn't enough to fully develop a
child. Children need more life experience than just sitting in front of a screen to
fully develop, and so while television can be helpful for some things, children still
need to get away from it now and again. The television is filled with some sorts of
useless things. Watching the television for long hours can also damage their eyes.

Television is okay in moderation, but is no replacement for one-on-one interaction

with a child, which is absolutely essential for development. Without it, a child
simply cannot learn how to cope with real-world problems and social situations.
Television reduces a kid's attention span, contributes to obesity, and teaches them
to be passive. We may conclude that, the advantages of Television are
overshadowed by the adverse impact it has on a child’s mind. Restriction should be
enforced against indiscriminate viewing. It is therefore a strong case to enforce
restriction on indiscriminate viewing of Television by children
