Laboratory Exercise 002

Objective/s:
At the end of this activity, you should be able to:
 Create spreadsheet file;
 Compute for the descriptive value by getting the average of all continuous data; and
 Formulate a conclusion or analysis about the experiment.

What to Prepare for the Activity:


 Microsoft Excel or Spreadsheet/SPSS

Procedure:
1. Load Microsoft Excel or any electronic spreadsheet. Enter the data from the table below.
2. Compute the average of all continuous variables using the =AVERAGE() function. You can
use the =average() by supplying the range of the data.
3. Make another table for the results of the average of Math, Language, Science, Reading, and
Social Science
4. Transfer the results in Microsoft Word Application. Give your interpretation to the results.
