Barcelona: A Love Untold

Introduction: The two main characters are Ely which is portrayed by Daniel Padilla
and Mia by Kathryn Bernardo. The setting of the movie is in Spain. Both characters had
their fair share of unfortunate and painful experiences in the Philippines that led them to
leave for Spain and start anew. For Ely, it was to forget the untimely passing of his
girlfriend, Celine as well as to forget the painful memories of his mother leaving him
behind. For Mia, it was to start a new life, as well as to make her parents proud of her
once again. We chose this movie clip because, among the other videos, Barcelona
showed a clearer flow of communication and the elements were evident. And the scene
was emotionally relatable and painful. We can relate to this in the sense that at some
point in our lives, there comes a person who wants to help us get through the problems
that we have. Not just idly standing by but gets involved and makes an effort to help us,
and we all need such person in our lives.
