Framework for Team Project:

The project report is focused on legal compliance and contracts for managing an organisation of
your choice – laws applicable and the areas that they cover, specific compliance requirements
and regulatory authorities.
The final project report must include the following:
1) Organization profile, clearly indicating the source of information
 Full name of organization
 Registered office and law under which it is set up
 Legal structure (e.g. company; if listed, stock exchanges on which it is listed)
 Authorized and paid up share capital as of 31st March, 2019
 Fixed assets as of 31st March, 2019
 Turnover for the year ended 31st March, 2019
 Specific products/services
 Number of employees
 Locations of branches
 Shareholding/ownership pattern as of date
 Board of Directors of the company
2) Specific job role and description for each functional manager in the organization, clearly
indicating the scope of the responsibilities using Active Voice
3) The list of Acts, Rules and Regulations that the role needs to comply with to be fully
legally compliant in its working for each functional area
4) Specific compliance action required for three of these sets of Acts/Rules/Regulations:
Registrations, permissions, licences and NOCs required from statutory authorities under
these laws, operating compliance, filing of returns and maintenance of records/registers.
The compliance action must be stated in detail with the specific action required (using
Active Voice), time frame, fee, authority and format (as applicable).
5) Regulatory Authorities and courts for redressal under each of these three sets of Acts,
Rules and Regulations
6) List of contracts for managing each functional area
7) Draft of three distinct Contracts for each functional area in your own words

Each project report must contain the names of the team members with the functional areas
that they have worked on. Each team member must work on a distinct functional area.

The project report must be submitted as a pdf file and must be named in the following
format: 2020BusinessLawProjectA1 (in this case A represents the section and 1 the group
number)

Please ensure that the report is professionally presented, i.e. clear index, consistency in
style and formatted in ‘Times New Roman 12 size’
