There are some ways by which we can reduce the amount of water
that we use
i) Clean your teeth from a tumbler of water rather than a tap.
ii) Wash the car with a bucket of water, rather than a hose.
iii) During a bath use shower because it saves water as well energy.
iv) Collect and store rain water and use it for watering plants, washing
cars and for other jobs where drinking water is not necessary
v) Do not waste food because large amount of water are needed to
produce all of the food we eat.
vi) Do not drop litter anywhere
vii) Do not pour waste oil, or any other harmful chemicals, down the
drain
viii) Save water in dry weather
ix) If you are out in the country , do not go to the toilet anywhere near
stream, ditch, lake etc
x) Reuse or recycle as many objects and materials this save water
