(F&G), Process Shutdown (PSD) and Emergency Shutdown
(ESD) application building, using the AC 800M HI Controller.
Application Restrictions:
The application building blocks must be properly integrated,
configured and validated in a Safety Application per the
requirements in the Safety Manual.

The Safety Integrity Level (SIL) of Safety Functions provided by Safety
Integrity Controller Instrumented Systems (SIS) utilizing application building blocks from OGP
REUSE Solution for AC 800M HI must be verified by an assessment of the safety
application software and by a calculation of PFH / PFDAVG. This assessment must
consider the architecture, proof test interval, proof test effectiveness, any
automatic diagnostics, average repair time and the specific failure rates of all
components included in the SIS. Each part must be checked to assure compliance
with minimum hardware fault tolerance (HFT) requirements.
