Abstract:-

Door plays an important role in home security. To secure the house,

occupants of the house will always have the door Locked. However,
sometimes the house occupants forgot to lock the door due to hurry when
leaving the house, or they may doubt whether they have locked the door or
not. We propose a Project Called Door Security System which is based on
Android using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor the status of
the Door, Controlling the Door and increase security in a house.

A door is one of the defense features to maintain physical security of

the house. If the door of the house can be opened easily, a thief can easily
enter and steal the contents of the house. At first, a door only incorporated
a physical key to lock or unlock the door but then, with the advancement of
technology, a more modern door has been innovated, namely the digital
door that can lock or unlock doors without requiring any physical Key.

Introduction:-

Aim: - Controlling the Door and increase Security in a House.

Face recognition have been used in Smartphone in past few years. It is a

cool technology where we can unlock mobile phones or to access any
application that require high security. With ESP-32 CAM, we can try
develop a simple project that uses your face as ID. Since ESP32 board
already comes with Camera Web Server example code that caters for video
stream and face recognition.

In this ESP-32 cam project, we have made Face Recognition Door Lock
System using ESP-32-CAM …… When smart lock detects any enrolled face,
it automatically. So this is a simple but very useful home automation
project using esp-32 camera module.

Reasons to select particular Project:-

 This Project can be used for security purposes in Organizations and in secured
zone.
 The system is convenient and secure for the users.
 It saves their time and efforts.

Circuit Diagram:-
To program the ESP32CAM, I have used FTDI232 USB to serial interface board. I have connected
the FTD232 with ESP32CAM as per the above Circuit

After programming if the ESP32 CAM detects any enrolled face, it will unlock the door and
Green LED will turn on.

If the face does not match with the enrolled face, the door remains lock.

Applications:-
 The System can be used for places that require security like bank, military.
 It can also be used in Houses and Society to recognize the outsiders and save
their Identity.
