 Responsible for processing and completing necessary patient admissions/registration
paperwork. Identify patients' insurance coverage or existing financial resources and
documents for billing and compliance requirements and payment of services
 Provided formal training to new patient representative employees on healthcare
applications, workflow process and tools in both inpatient and out-patient settings
 Provide weekly productivity and key performance indicators and standards while

data is maintained
 As lead, I ensure that the processes and systems for registration are standardized and
optimized for efficient and effective flow of patients within the department and the

 Ensures that point-of-service cash collections are performed against expected revenue
goals and reported on a regular basis
 Ensures compliance with policies and directives issued by Medicare, Medicaid, Third
Party Payors, and others as needed
 Sat in on the interview process and helped with the selection of potential candidates
 Implemented and helped facilitate the optimization of new workflow processes
