ANALYSIS

There are thre physical rules of Newtons law of motion that placed the basis for

mechanics. It is decsribes the connection betweeen a body and the forces that is acting

upon it or how motion has been produces by forces. An object will be at constant

velocity when it remains at rest. When a body exerts aforce onto another body, the

another body will exert force at the same time, it is equal to the magnitude and the

opposite direction of the firstt body.

In the experiment, we focus on using and following the second law of motion.

The second law of motion states the net f0rce must be equal t0 the ratte of change of

the momentum. An object’s acceleration is proportional to the net force and inversely

proportional to the mass of the object. In the 1 st part we got the result when we have a

constatn mass and changing of net force. If the mass which is toward s the tensi0n

increases, it will have the same effect to the acceleration. We proved that the cart’s

acceleration is direcly proportional to the hanging mass. Therefore when acceleration is

increasing its value, the value of the hanging mass also increases. The chaanging

ofmass but then having a c0nstant net f0rce is all about the part 2 of the experiment.

We also prooved that the carts acceleraton is indirectly proportional. to the mass. In the

3rd part is difficult because we need to adjust the value of the cart and the pulley. The

distance travelled is only have a constant value.

CONCLUSION

This experiment manages understanding the proportionality of increasing speed

o the net force and the mass of an object. Newtons second law of motion relates to the

acceleration of an –object that is being reliant with the net force and the object’s mass.

This clarifies why the oobjectives are imtended tohappen. The setup for this experiment

must be well prepared because it will have an effect with the results. The track must be

put into a stable place. With the use of the cart with a string that is hanging to it we can

determine what will happen to the cart’s acceleration if we increases the mass of the

hanger which we proved that it will increases its acceleration if we increase the mass of

the hanger. Therefore, we can say that the acceleration of the object is directly

proportional to the hanging wieght. But when increases the mass of the cart, the

acceleration will decreases. Base on kinematics about the reelationship between time

and distance travelled, the lesser time on a distance. travelled, the acceleration is

increasing or the acceleration becomes faster and viceversa.
