Imagine You Are Going To Establish A Restaurant Please Discuss
What Area You Will Choose And Why, What Would Be Your Target
Customer And What Would Be Your Service Forms And Why You Are
Choosing The Particular Form
Introduction:
I’m Stanly Prem D’ Rozario. Now I’m reading Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism and
Hospitality Management. I’m going to establish a Restaurant. The Restaurant name is KaPaLaPa Buzz
What is a Restaurant? A place where people pay to sit and eat meals or drink beverage or eat meals that
are cooked and served on the premises.

What Area I will Choose & Why?

I’ll Choose Farmgate area because Farmgate is most common area in the Dhaka city. Every economical
people are living a life in this area. And every kind of person must be visiting this area because this area
is middle of Dhaka city. Farmgate is most common area but this area has so many Restaurants but I
would like to do Pub. Because I want to create something new and innovative in the restaurant of
Bangladesh.
A pub is a bar that serves simple food fare. Traditionally, pubs were primarily drinking establishments
with food in a decidedly secondary position, whereas the modern pub business relies on food as well, to
the point where gastro pubs are known for their high-quality pub food. A typical pub has a large selection
of beers and ales on tap.

What Would Be My Target Customer?

My target market is the subset of people who my product most appeals to. It's important to understand this
subset because they will be the core of my business. I think of this group of people as repeat customers.
It's important to understand repeat customers because it will help me identify what characteristics they
share with one another and what it is that my offer that attracts these loyal customers. Target market
analysis is the process of learning these characteristics. Here are some common metrics used for
demographic information:
 Age.
 Income.
 Location.
 Family status.

There is also important information to be found about lifestyle preferences:

 Drink preferences.
 Dietary and eating habits.
 Hobbies
 Ambience and decor preference.
 Social media activity

Another element of market analysis relates to where my bar or restaurant is located:

 Other businesses in my area.
 Accessible for and volume of foot traffic.
 Other bars and restaurants near me.
 Accessibility from highways and interstates.
 Relation to business, shopping, or entertainment district.
 Business operations of direct bar and restaurant competition.
Market analysis is also a big piece of planning when opening a new bar or restaurant concept. Here is
some additional information I'll need to research before opening a new venue.
 Real estate prices.
 Costs of lease vs. ownership of venue.
 Local real estate and business developments.

Researching my target market, and the market I operate in at large, will help determine marketing
strategies and how to present myself to appeal to my ideal customers.

What Would be My Service Forms & Why I’m Choosing?

Professionally my service form is American Service This is usually called "plate service” because the
food is already placed in the plate in the kitchen ready to be served to the guests. This type of service is
used in coffee shops where there is a demand for quick and simple service. It requires minimal training
for novice waiters and waitresses.
Advantages:
 It is a fast and simple service.
 It is inexpensive. One waiter or waitress can serve many guests and no special service equipment
is necessary.
 It does not require highly trained technical staff that demands for higher pay.

Disadvantages:
 Less showmanship.
 Reduced personalized attention.

First of all make sure my pub customers are served well anybody who works in any customer service
position is a caregiver. Wait staff and bartenders are no exceptions. Good customer service includes how
employees interact with customers when things are going well, as well as how employees handle difficult
situations. The best employees develop customer service relationships with pub guests who feel at home
while visiting the bar and having a couple of drinks or a fun night out.
Pub employees are the hosts, entertainers, and business representatives of pub. They are the face of the
establishment, and how they behave sets the mood for my guests. Employees always smile and greet
people warmly when they arrive. Encourage them to be genuine. If the bartender is busy and cannot help
them right away, make sure that he or she knows to let the customers know that they'll be waited on right
away. Encourage pub employees to learn the names of my regular customers, what they usually order,
and where they prefer to sit. Pay attention to customer needs. Some come to the pub to chat and be social
others want to engage their companion in conversation. Employees who can read their customers give the
best service.

Conclusion:
The way the world is moving forward, I want our country to move forward. A country's wealth plays a
big role in its development. Tourists play a big role in increasing a country's wealth. I want to increase the
number of tourists visiting this country so that we can move towards development. I have made such a
plan for this.
