RESOLUTION
No. 920-5

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF KTM BUILDERS, LLC FOR THE

SILVERDALE CORRECTIONAL FACILITY EXPANSION AND UPGRADE PROJECT
AMOUNTING TO $20,069,178.00, FOR THE HAMILTON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY MAYOR TO SIGN ANY CONTRACTS
NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THIS RESOLUTION.

WHEREAS, bids were received in response to public advertisement for an expansion and
upgrade project at the Silverdale Correctional Facility for the Hamilton County
Sheriff’s Office; and,

WHEREAS, the bid from KTM Builders, LLC amounting to $20,069,178.00 was considered
to be the lowest and best bid received; and,

WHEREAS, there are sufficient allocated funds available to the requisitioning department
from bond proceeds.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS COUNTY LEGISLATIVE BODY IN

SESSION ASSEMBLED:

That the bid of KTM Builders, LLC amounting to $20,069,178.00 for an expansion and
upgrade project at the Silverdale Correctional Facility for the Hamilton County Sheriff’s
Office is hereby accepted, said bid being the lowest and best bid received, and authorizing the
County Mayor to sign any contracts necessary to implement this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THIS RESOLUTION TAKE EFFECT FROM AND

AFTER ITS PASSAGE, THE PUBLIC WELFARE REQUIRING IT.
